@@enmanuel8454 Sure you can. I never took lessons. I don't swim like a pro, but I manage well enough. Again, I never go out without my vest on. I've never heard of anyone drowning in a life vest (PFD) before.
@@enmanuel8454 I custom made pontoons for my canoe. Switching to a kayak I won, but watching all these vids about flipping over, kinda liking my current setup. It's rock solid. No flipping unless you try to do it.
I can’t even swim so I’m afraid of these lol, but this is a cool DIY setup!
That's a shame. You're missing out on a lot of good times. (I'm never on the water without my vest on)
@@DanHiteshew-oneandonly Haha yeah, I need to start some swimming lessons! I'm 25, still can learn to swim hopefully

Well done thks
Interesting concept. Fixed motor and use rudder to steer. Do you have good enough of steering? This is cost effective means
It's great for most of what I do. If I need to turn hard, I just grab my paddle.
Any idea how soon you’ll do the variable speed vid? Great stuff
I thought about it today, so thanks for the reminder. I'll get on it.
I wonder if this’ll work in my row boat.
Probably.
You don't need to put the speed controller in a waterproof box?
I think it would overheat. I don't get it wet (unless I get caught in the rain or something)
No problem with weight balance having the battery mounted in the rear?
My stern sits about six inches lower than the bow, but it's never been an issue to me. I'd probably go a little faster if it leveled out.
