Elasticity Science: Rubber Band Car

  • In this video students will learn the concepts of elasticity. Students will use the engineer and design process to make a rubber band car. They can use the car to test potential and kinetic energy or Newton"s Laws of Motion.

    So interesting Michelle! I remember when my oldest kid was doing something similar to this when she was studying kinetic energy in her homeschooling science co-op. Such a fun way to learn! 🚗

    Love it! This is a great stem project! We usually make Lego cars with balloons, but I'm often blowing up all the balloons. The elastic bands are much easier to use. Blessings on your day, Michelle!

    Hello Ms Michelle, thanks for this wonderful stem project. how do you make the wheels of the car exactly Same shape ?

      Use a bottle top and trace all four. You will have to cut carefully. Thanks for watching!
