As always I am amazed by God. I stand in awe of him. After much thought about my word for 2024 God spoke to me and said just Abide in me. Stop all the busy work, bible studies, stressing over what to DO and just BE. Be in my word, be in my presence and Abide. I literally thought I was probably the only person who would choose that word. And at every turn I am seeing and hearing Abide. God is truly speaking to his children and I am so grateful for that. Loved this message and can not wait to hear the series in full to hear what God has to share. So thankful for this moment to fall into what God is saying.
They cancelled church in Iowa as a result of windchills below -30°. We watched as a family and didn’t anticipate such a conviction from the Holy Spirit. I can’t wait to finish out the series with you all (y’all) 😉
Everybody trying to “prove themselves” or “prove something about someone else” in some shape or form. “The prove it generation”. In Christianity…..how many scriptures you need to memorize to be the “better” Christian, when you don’t apply them? Perfect attendance at church….just to say you went, but your heart of far from the Lord….the heart, Motive, the intentions. Great sermon 👍
