B33FS Cooke SOO HARD ON THIS! He aint like all them other artists who just be usin dat *IGROCKET* dawwwt cawwwm jawwwwn to go HAM ON THE GRAM smh seem like anyone can get mad followers on the gram like Island Boys dun did
Mega's conversations are great, been great since the 90's / early 2000's. However, his ear for beats and his choice of production is not pleasing to the ear ,which makes the jewels he drops in his music un enjoyable . Low,very low replay value. And I like Mega, so whoever reads this don't think I'm being a hater. I want him to win MUSICALLY. What's a win musically.? A high metric score from reviews, making multiple years end list of best rap album, and / or high sales . I say all of that to say this : keep that preachy shit out the records,or spit it over some very ill production. Hire a young A&R to give you a fresh sound bed to spit on.
Mega was the first rapper I ever heard shouting out that he was independent back when it was looked down upon. He was making more money on the low than a lot of artists signed to major label slave deals. Also was able to retain his masters.
Mega is a solid dude and he drops jewels all the time, I still listen to his older catalog and it gives me a dope vibe still just like his more modern music does and it's positive and inspiring.
He's 53 dude he's supposed to be mature I was thinking the same thing and it's sad in our society today people don't grow up in many cases any one acting like a moron at 53 deserves to die of a heart attack and stop taking up space
Now I know why his name proceeds his face. I remember him being featured on rhymes but never knew what Cormega looked like; But he really said some powerful words here. Salute to the Kings!
Mega always had this introspective element to him. Even when he was rapping about the same shit others were with the drugs and jewels and shit, he would still make you think, you could tell it's someone with more depth than some other rappers, I was a big ass Nas head growing up but Mega always made me look at things different at other angles.
I think Bigga been feeling guilty since he got into the lil drama with bootcamp cause he been reaaaalll quiet since that episode. And he added to that episode in a good way. So we need his contribution.
You can live a long life by minding your own business. Cormega is right about not forgiving people for unforgivable acts. Not to mention about your past is quicksand and your present is solid ground.
Been thru that, you have to forgive. We just make our own version of forgiveness up and think thata what it is. No, you don't have to continue the relationship. Forgiveness is for you, not for them. It's to free you, so you know there is no hold on you. And coming from the places and spaces he's talking about not forgiving will have you kill someone. Then you'll learn forgiveness the hard way, with a og talking to you while you doing 20 years. It almost happened to me, I'm just grateful I have spiritual guides and real ogz
To experience growth along with using your knowledge and wisdom you obtain a long your journey in life is a wonderful thing to share with others to help them in their Journey.
RIP Aunt Naureen/Mrs. Hill 😔! I miss those Edgemere Community Center days. Every time I'm on 81st, I see whatever renovation they are doing on the center by 81-04. With all the scaffolding around the project, visibility is low out there right now.
Mega lacerate 9/10ths of any emcee from any time period, so I'm glad to hear him being honest and humble about personal shit.. hopefully a wide audience and young people restpek et.
Listen to the new album, The Realness part 2, it's hard and it's deep, pause. If you want more positive lyrics I recommend his album Mega Philosophy from a few years ago and if you want that street shit listen to The Realness part one but the new album Realness part 2 is a perfect fit.
“Stop forgiving people for unforgivable acts” My God that needed to be said
It’s interesting how when he says that, the body language of a couple dudes in there change. Especially dude sitting right next to him.
B33FS Cooke SOO HARD ON THIS! He aint like all them other artists who just be usin dat *IGROCKET* dawwwt cawwwm jawwwwn to go HAM ON THE GRAM smh seem like anyone can get mad followers on the gram like Island Boys dun did
Cormega is a great example of growth. His music, and conversations show this. Very wise brother indeed.

Love is love. This cormega song got me through so much madness in 2019. Everything in that song is a survival jewel.
Now I know why his name proceeds his face. I remember him being featured on rhymes but never knew what Cormega looked like; But he really said some powerful words here. Salute to the Kings!

Cornega exhibits the balance of wisdom and humility. A fine line few can walk.
A track with Mega, Math & Grafh would be fire!
I miss Cormega. Every interview he's done has been enlightening in some way. We really did have the best era of emcees in the 90s/00s.

I think Bigga been feeling guilty since he got into the lil drama with bootcamp cause he been reaaaalll quiet since that episode. And he added to that episode in a good way. So we need his contribution.

The pointing at the floor and making the guest look down and yelling, "YOU DROPPING JEWELS!" Please keep doing that, I love it😂
These days everyone's business is becoming everyone's business. That is a perfect recipe for disaster.
