Y’all gotta let the guest talk quit being so quick to interject. Rome has so much to say you can see it in his face but you just take over. Read the room and you will be more successful I promise.
I disagree. This is the Esso and Heineken show wether you like it or not. You can't watch an 8 minute clip and try to change the flow of something that's already growing and successful. Your promises mean nothing, and this show will thrive with or without you.
@@983mademanThat's not true, bruh. You can be successful and still struggle with interviewing. "Drink Champs" was really successful, but Nore had to learn to stop talking over the guests so much. Yes, it's their show, and we appreciate their insights, but if they brought in a guest, it’s likely that the guest has something to say-so let them say it.
I agree on most points but I think you're overlooking the importance of access to capital. It takes capital to do it right (trademarking, copyrighting, marketing, networking, merch etc) on top of learning the business so you don't get f'd. And then you still get f'd like you said with the button pushers. 2024 is revealing a lot of shady industry things that were rumored but now turn out to be true. How does an artist realistically manage ALL that while mastering their craft?
Learn as u go... All that Overthinking shit ain't gon help. Jus focus on making the best music possible 1st, & Figure it out as u go... U can't do no business without a Product, & your Music is the Product... That's the best approach imo🤷♂️
U can't do all the business, that's y u hire people. Otherwise u have 2b the label, the lawyer, the producer, promoter, marketing. No 1 person can do all that.😮
@@joshuacharles4403 Your statement is kind of contradictory. You can't learn the music business as you go and not "overthink" and hopefully apply what you learn. Especially if the people in the industry (bagfuel) are telling you it's rigged. Of course, you can do it cheap and not put effort/creativity in the art and just go viral but that's where the disconnect comes in with "true" artists. Like they said it takes years to look like an overnight success. The art is the easy part once you put your hours in. Now, do you wanna just hand those 10000 hours over cause you didn't overstand the business? Depending ion situations and current circumstances some have to sign those lopsided deals. I think more honest is advice is sacrifice your 1st project for the small bag and hope you can parlay that into a bigger bag. And if you live long enough you might could by your masters back. If you're really lucky they'll offer you money for your catalog instead of deleting you 😅😂✌
You are so right! 😃 This is why artists wanted a deal from a record company because they did not have the capital and business knowledge to get started. Many artists had talent, but it wasn't until they were discovered by someone with the capital resources that allowed them the opportunity to shine. 😉

Nicki Minaj did a interview years back saying they’re not looking for talented people in the music industry they’re looking for popular people people who already got a fan base so it’s more easier to sell the product of the music and anything else I mean I get it. It’s smart. If you got a lot of followers you better be trying to do something rapper singer beat maker constant creator otherwise you just got a whole bunch of followers for no damn reason and you’re not making any money off of them.

YOU ALWAYS GONNA HAVE PPL TRYING TO MAKE IT LOOK EASY SO THEY CAN PROFIT FROM THE TALENT, THIS WILL BE NEVER ENDING PROFIT GAME.....FROM THE BEGINNING OF TIME PIMP & HOE OR THE 'SALESMAN'????
Esso please stfu. Let your guest talk. What is the purpose of having a guest and you dont let them talk!? Come on This interview could have been good if you let the Rome give his perspective without your know it all rhetoric
