I look forward to seeing other people knit this - I loved the effect of the braids in the knit along, but I didn’t enjoy knitting them, and ended up putting my Twists and Turns in the naughty corner for a little while before I was ready to do the rest of the shawl. I LOVED knitting the rest of it, though - but I don’t think I could do the braids again.
You're so talented. That wrap is absolutely stunning. I would be proud to wear that. I crochet, I cant knit but it's definitely a talent. I love the fact your not afraid to mix different colors like that. But that's what makes your items beautiful and one of a kind
Yes I do like the look of it, and it is clearly an original Stephen West Design. That being said, I found section one of the MKAL 2022 after three or four repeats got r.e.a.l.l.y tedious and I had to force myself to keep going. The result looks unique and interesting, but I´ll have too pass. You could pay me and I wouldn´t knit it.
That is amazing...I’m such a perpetual beginner knitter, I failed at your boneyard shawl...I wish you would consider doing some more very beginner knits for us dummies!!! You are my favorite knitter ever (sorry VeryPink knits) ❤❤
This is SO cool! I am going to make a large, scrappy version! I have a lot of beautiful, bright orange yarn that I think I'll use for the main color, and then all my scraps and leftovers for the rest!

I loved making those braids in the Twists and Turns shawl. When I first watched your video, "GENIUS" is the exact word I used. Your designs are so fun to knit and give me confidence to knit things I never thought I could.

You're definitely a genius! I'd add some fringe or tassels to the loop ends! That way they can still be removed to show off the magic!

I just purchased the pattern. I have a boat load of leftover yarns and this will be a fantastic way to use up this stash.

I’m going to knit a graphic contrast with two colours I had dyed in honour of my mum.
The "braid" is actually called Jacob's ladder....I'm not sure I want to do it again, but it's a great idea.
