UGHH!!! so add this to my growing list of “must dos” I just looked at my stash and got so excited over the color possibilities! You are amazing and I love your energy. Thank you for this wonderful pattern and video!❤
i dont mean to be off topic but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid lost my password. I love any help you can give me!
@Paul Andrew Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
After percieving you for a couple of years but declining your models... now I have to say: YOU ARE GREAT 👍🏻🌼 I am knitting for decades and experiencing so many new techniques in the last months by viewing a lot of knittng podcasts here on YT. For instance the yarn weaving in method. This is a really break-through cause I'm hating to sew in all the ends when making colour-work. By this time you are one of my "heroes". Thank you so much 🙏🏻💗 BTW: your explanations are absolutely superp. Nothing left to ask for. Sorry for my poor English. ✨✨✨
As I sit here working on my holiday (after working the entire weekend as well), your video is making it hurt less 😜. Hearing your voice always makes me happy! Holy crap, these samples are beautiful! And I love your sweater, that green is fabulous. I can completely see why you are obsessed with honeycombs. I’m looking forward to diving into many of the patterns in your latest collection. To quote YOU, “keep knittin’ kitten”
Than you! I started knitting with circular needles with your dotted rays shawl and I will go on with your wonderful projects! You are a genius! Many greatings from an italian fan😍
What a great video, so clear and precise. I first saw your shawls on Inside No 23 when Katie was showing of the exploration station shawl, about three years ago. Cannot believe I have wound up yarn to start my very first Stephen West shawl. Thank you for sharing and being so generous xxxx
Just bought your pattern, and watched this over a couple of times to get it right ✅ The outcome is i love it,and love watching you knit. And its true you seem like a lovely person ,inside and out 💐💐
This is genius. I have had a knitting block lately, nothing sounds interesting...until now. I can’t wait to get my hands on this pattern and get back into knitting something fun! Thanks for the awesome pattern!
Stephen, you are such a genius with color and design. You're such an innovator. I've been with you since the beginning. I've knit Metalouse, and Boneyard and many in between. I'm casting off Slipstravaganza today. Love the honeycombs. Can't wait to see what's coming in the future. Thank you for keeping knitting so much fun. Sending much love from MI.💝
I've started a shlanket. Doing big honeycomb pattern with substantial yet squishy and fluffy merino. As it works long edge to small rather than getting larger this is going to keep my motivation up given each line will get faster to finish. I just finished the first line of honeycombs and although just a first date with this shawl I've fallen in love with it.
You are delightful and your knits are fantastic!! Looking forward to trying the one with the jagged edge. A grey/black outside w/rainbow honeycombs in Kauni yarn. Thank you for this great tutorial!
Still working on my Painting Bricks but this will be my next! I'm obsessed with this type of knitting! Looks complicated but so mindless once you get going. Also your Weavin' Steven technique has saved me!
Greetings to you from sunny Namibia (southern Africa). You were recommended to me by my neighbor who saw a Deutsche Welle (DW) documentary on you knitting. And then I was hooked (or should I say strung). I am a very experienced knitter and wrote down the pattern from the instructions above. Looked at this and summised I probably need an engineering / combo architectual degree ... to complete this. Not so, I shall be master of this mountain! And I am climbing that mountain which turns out to be a small hill. Also downloaded this pattern from Ravely. Thank you Stephen, keep going, you are doing extraordinary beautiful patterns. They are exceptional and wonderful to knit. One of the best thing that could happen to us in pandemic times, sharing these artworks on RUclips. Keep going please and stay safe in your part of the world in such troubling times, where we can at least enjoy your patterns to stay with our butts at home and not go insane, as winter is approaching with us here in our part of the world, and we desperately need to stay warm and safe. Thanks a million. Much appreciated and keep safe. With much love from Windhoek, Namibia.
You are such a joy to watch. Thank you for these patterns you create and make the videos for. Very well done and fun to watch. I wished there was a Facebook group for your Painting Honeycomb patterns. I looked and didn't find one. Do you, yourself have a Facebook group? I'd love to be in the group. Thank you.

I never thought I would want to knit a shawl, but I am DEFINITELY knitting this! 😍 I am obsessed!
Love how you show step by step how to do the stitch - even redoing it to where a person can really see how you did it.
Thank you so much for the tutorial. You are always so clear and so generous to explain us all your secrets. You are a genius.
Your yarn artistry is astounding! What a gift you have, Thank you for sharing them with us all 😘
