It's been a few years so I guess now I appreciate the difference between thinking Armstrong is simply a greedy warmonger and realizing he's an insane megalomaniac.
It's insane, i truly believe they mailed the humanity, the emotions, that you get from Armstrongs face.
He looks so human and not some A.I reading lines from a script.
Typcical politician - first dash you to the ground, later offer help and to side with him...
The scary thing is that there's something legitimately noble in his whole plan to boost the economy with a war on terrorism, but his philosophy to fight for yourself and being alone seems to have changed him for the worst
I feel this is the moment that Raiden realized Armstrong had good intentions, but was truly too mentally unstable to see those intentions through to the end without serious consequences.
vault dweller: i was wrong.. you're not greedy
master: :)?
vault dweller: YOU'RE BATSHIT INSANE!

Yeah, I agree with the description. They should've ended the game with them shaking hands.
It always kills me how happy Armstrong is when he thinks Jack has turned to his side, just to be betrayed. I almost feel bad for him
When he immediately treated him as a friend it was so wholesome for some reason
Almost such a wholesome moment, especially tied in with the fatherly, "You should fight for what you believe in, not some company or nation or anyone else."
I love how genuinely happy and hopeful Armstrong is when Raiden starts saying he might have been wrong about him.
Raiden: how the hell did you get elected
Senator: I don't write my own speeches
Aw look how happy Armstrong was. He genuinely liked Raiden
*damn Raiden, you didn´t need to broke this man's heart....... twice*
