Your problem isn't this. It's you didn't store it at 80% SOC and recharge every 3 to 6 months to 80% per instructions.

Some folks on here had a question about what exactly the ECO mode does and does not do. Hopefully this will clear it up. ECO Mode automatically shuts off the AC inverter after 4 hours of low or no load (less than 10 watts). It’s a nice feature for when you forget to turn off the AC so that you don’t loose overhead power from the inverter just being on. ECO Mode does not effect the DC, and DC will stay on. ECO Mode also does not shut the entire unit off. It only shuts off the AC.

Great to know. I've had an EB70 for months and never had heard of this. Thanks

This was news to me. I don't remember any other reviews mentioning the "Eco" mode.

My unit has the Eco mode on by default. I just got my Bluetti EB55 and looked up this video to find out what the heck Eco Mode was, since it wasn't in the instruction manual. So maybe they listened to feedback about this feature.

Thanks. Mine started in eco mode. Might be an updated unit. Didn't know how to toggle that

Thanks for the video, I had the opposite problem, mine is default to eco mode and it shuts down at night when my ekooler isn’t running as much. I needed to see how to turn eco mode off.

Exactly. Most people need it on. CPAP users also. It does not discharge overnight with nothing plugged in if you leave the dc on or inverter on by mistake, like this guy alleged. It would take several days of being left on with 25W inverter draw.

I have the eb3a and it is in eco mode and it still cuts itself off. I have not been satisfied with Bluetti at all! Over rated co in my opinion.

What does eco mode so exactly ?

    • @Tommyr

Bluetti's answer: "Under ECO Mode (Default Setting), the AC outputs of BLUETTI EB70 will be turned off automatically in 4 hours when drawn under 10W power for power saving. If you would like to turn it off, please enter the 'settings mode' of the LCD screen to switch ON/OFF. We hope this design could make EB70 more controllable, especially for CPAP users."

@@Tommyr this leads me to wonder...does this ONLY apply to the AC outputs? I am planning to run my CPAP from DC via an adapter because it draws less wattage than the AC ports. I want my CPAP to run all night but would be happy to have the ECO mode on if it only shut off the AC ports.

If you are running a Travel Fridge or CPAP you sure as hell don't want it to shut off after 4 hours... Right????
