Man what a blast from the past. I was actually there and it was one of the standouts of an incredibly packed day (at least for a diehard melodeath fan like me)
I was there and it was amazing. The sound live was good, it's just the video sound. Best live perfomance for me at this Wacken. You are amazing.

Amazing band. After a show in Holland this year, i hanged out with them. Very nice guys!
Just saw them in buffalo new york. Very good show. Maybe 50 head in the crowd but the energy was great the sound was amazing and the performance was very good. Almost better being in a small venue crowd because we got to actually interact with the band before and after the show. Very nice guys extremely good music. I highly recommend anyone with an opportunity to see them take it. Wife and i drove 9hrs from Delaware to buffalo to see them

I was right there in the crowd. Your gig was one that I was very excited for. Unfortunately the sound in front of the stage (~3rd row) was so bad that I was really disappointed (no main voice, almost no guitars). About half way through the show we headed backwards, there it got better. But overall I was sad since the sound on those smaller stages tends to be really really good the last years.
The sound Quality of this outtake is better than anything that could be heard in front of the stage.
For you this means you need to come back to germany so I can see your show with a decent sound.

The volume of guitars is a little bit too high that's why it sounds like that ! and drums are too low ! i'm taking about the live audio not the actual performance, which is outstanding \m/

Why is the guitar tone so weak?
Guitar sound is fine, bass is mixed really quiet

Well, it is the masvidalien himself.
Paul Masvidal sings almost all of the clean vocals, and also played the first guitar solo... It sounds like Cynic because the driving force behind Cynic is in this song as well.
They could dump the vocalist and just do cleans.
At a minimum he should keep his shirt on.
