Good review it looks like the w945 and w950 are similar apart from the wing tips on 950 ? Can you do a review on stab,s too. Just a foot note I'm a wind foiler.
Can you review the stabs, they can change the performance of all those front foils dramatically depending on how you mix and match. My go-to is the 945 front with the 450 stab. Also sold my 1100 which was great for learning and light wind. Great review!
Hi! Thanks for the video! Wich sabfoil front wing will you recomend for high wind days? I already have the 945 (so nice) and the 1100 for super light days. Thank you very much!!!
Hi. Thanks for making this video, it's excellent.. You mentioned in the thread you use S370 and S399/400 stabilisers. When you describe the differences is it relative to one stabiliser? And did you use a shim with stabilisers when using the 700 fuselage? With the exception of the W1000 of course which use the kite fuselage. I also note that Sabfoil just changed their website for fuselages and the old ones are not listed any longer, interesting! Regards.
Thanks for the great comparison and review, very helpfull. I have been using the 1100 and 950 but recently started using the 945 and I loving it, what a great ride. So much faster and manuverable compared to the 1100 and I think the low end is quite similar. Now I am trying to decide between the 940 or the 799 for the higher wind days with bigger swales but not sure which one to choose. Do you have any additional info that could help me decide between these 2 foils?
Yes, the 899 is a really nice light wind front wing. Right now I use it a lot on the light wind days with shifty wind. It has the same caristic as the 799. But everything is a little more slow. But starts early and pump even better than 799

hi! I have the old carbon mast MOSES 91 mm originally designed for kitefoiling. can it be used for wingfoiling too? thanx, jordan
Great review. What about the 899?
How do you like the connection between fuselage and front wing? Is it solid or does it twist? Thanks!

Hi. For sure the w799. Overall this frontwing is amazing and handle highwind with an ease
Thanks for another great review.
In terms of ease-of-use and low-end/ stall speed, is there a big difference between the 799 vs the 1000?
Yes, the 799 is much easier in use and has also a lower stall speed. In fact they are not alike at all 😀
Nice Reviews, helps a Lot , thanks

Hi. Yes the describtion is relative to one stab. On the 700 I use 1’ shim.
@@mortenlander Thanks.

If you have the 945, then the 799 will not help you for higher wind days. Here the 940 will be a much better combo.
Is the 799 good for pumping back out to the waves or is the 945 better?
@@mortenlander thanks, that is what I was thinking too. Will get one for next summer
Is the 945 an upgrade for the 950 or should I stick with it and buy a 940 instead?
Yes. In my opinion its a upgrade. W940 needs more wind and is a good combo with W945
Thanks a lot. I will do that.
did you tried the 945 with 482 stab? if not, wich stab you use an recomend?
I can not recommand the S482. Its very slow. S370 (for waves) or S399 (for freeride/freestyle) will work really well
Did you find the 940 to pump better than the 1000? would you say that the 940 and 945 pump the same?
Yes, I will say that the 940 pumps better than the 1000, and 945 better than 940. But the 1000 has better glide.
@@mortenlander Is there a big difference between the 945 and 940 in general (although only 200cm2)? Is it worth having/buying them both?
@@csc_surf I think it is worth having both. The overlap is perfect
Is the 800 a good substitute for the 940?
You think you will try the 899?

You say the minimum wind speed would be 12mph for the W945, 15mph for the W1000 and 17mph for the W940. What about the W799 ?
W799 and W945 covers almost the same range
Haha 740 vs 940 & 745 vs 945
