Andy brought up Animal Chin. Bro, almost had me in tears. I’m 46. As a teenager I spent so much time trying to find him. Skated with many friends, lost many along the way, only to realize that, to me, it was never about Chin, but the path to freedom; a freedom I recently going again, and only through skateboarding. Much respect, guys. Thank you for bringing me back to better days.

And if you look at his deck its the powell flight graphics on the prototype of his first board
Oh and been watching nka for years and iv seen this all before AAANDDD other people also commenting on here that its 90% old footage....AAAAND nigel is now getting a reputation and getting videos made about him double uploading for views

@@HeadspaceSkateboards it was an amazing time to be a skater, from the early 80’s was so much innovation with boards trucks, wheels, tricks, it was very popular. I lived in a small town in WV for a short period and it was so popular even the bones brigade, Alva, Vision skate teams came through for demos! The Powell Peralta videos, transwolrd and thrasher mags fueled the fire!I still prefer the late 80’s skateboard shapes. Andy and his crew captures the vibe as close as I’ve seen since.

10:00 amazing park designed with the understanding that sk8boarding developed as a means to practice surfing on land by mimicking the rippled surface of the ocean.
Skateboarding is much more than that, its a nice pump track though.
@@d0phyte obviously the artistic sport evolved from its humble beginnings.
Actually it was mostly designed by the high schools art teacher . Mr.grey , it’s not specifically designed to mimic anything but a sickkk place to skate

yall need to skate texas more.... its where i grew up, and literally right when i left all these new parks started opening.. nonetheless there is still an insane amount of street spots, and skateparks, its sort of like california just bigger to by the definition things are a bit spaced out more, definitely take like 2 or 3 weeks to skate around the whole state, tons of stuff
I lived in moody... lol no luck down there. Never got to check out Waco.

It's true what your dad said about the gas station, Buc E. It's like the mother of all gas stations. Even Costco gas stations are tiny compared to Buc E. We now have 2 of them in GA, on I-75.

At 55:30 Andy helped that plants lifespan by cutting the dead part off, the living part of the plant will get to the water easier. I'm gonna say Andys grind helped saved the world right there by allowing that plant to create more oxygen
