I’m an American 🇺🇸 expatriate teacher in Taiwan 🇹🇼 and I rely on locally-purchased equipment. Headphones: I do OK with gamer headphones from my local consumer electronics store (I believe it’s called 3C).
Question: Do you have/do/know of some demos on how to use that equipment stuff? Q2: Is there sucha-thing as an on-line ESL gig where you get to wear a disguise, or don't hafta be on cam at all? Your channel is good.
There are lots of great RUclips videos on how to teach on Zoom, etc. There are a few companies that are audio only, but part of the job is engaging with your students so I recommend taking steps to feel comfortable on camera.
I teach when I travel so prefer a laptop, but there isn’t a requirement for one over the other. I started with a cheap laptop I got off of FB marketplace.

Do your headphones have a mic attached?

as a streamer, I recommend the HyperX Quadcast S for a microphone and the Logitech Brio 4k (not the stream edition) for the webcam

What is your recommendation for computers? Do you recommend desktop or laptop?

Could you show the sound of each microphone?
If you watch my older videos that’s the Yeti. My newer videos use the Rode.
