Just a "for your information", I don't know about other states, but in Texas, as long as you are with a parent or legal guardian and are at least 18 years old, you can legally drink alcohol. You CAN'T buy it, but you can drink it. I just looked it up to make sure before I posted what I thought was true.
I hope you're visit to the USA 🇺🇸 is everything you expected ❤ . I live in the South and a Pit Boss .You will love our Barbecue ❤ and our local seafood in the South and our SEC Football 🏈. Hope you have a Amazing time here ❤❤️🇺🇸😉👍
Wherever you may be on the 23rd, Thanksgiving, hopefully you find an open restaurant serving a good Thanksgiving meal, unless you're gonna be with friends or acquaintances. Even Cracker Barrel chain places may be open and at least they have pretty good country style cooking and should have turkey, etc that day. Or find a country style buffet that's open and serving a Thanksgiving spread for lunch 👍 ❤️
@@limeygaynor Cool👍 I hope they'll have some good ol' American Southern dishes for y'all 👍 I'm from the South and we really do know how to season food and make things the tastiest👍 Are your pals expat Brits or born in "Murica?! 🤣 😋❤️ Always enjoy y'all's content. One of my most watched peeps👍❤️
It’s a common theme for franchises and food cuisines to dumb down their product in the UK I noticed. Maybe they think stronger flavors and spices won’t resonate well with UK folk. I mean honestly even Indian food I’ve tried in UK vs USA lacks quite a bit
Hell y’all should drive two hours to Knoxville for the Georgia Tennessee college football game. Not sure how good a game it will be but it will be packed and it is 100,000+ seat stadium
Sometimes the pickles are alright if you just eat them as the burger/sandwich is intended, though truthfully I also take them off 99% of the time cause they are jarring to bite into if you're not expecting a pickle. Relish on hot dogs is pretty good though, and I love mustard (and honey mustard) so I am TeamGaynor on this one. I put mustard on my chicken sandwiches from Chick-fil-A and on chicken patties with a slice of American cheese on top when the chicken is still warm so it gets a little melty in a burger bun. At McDonalds I think they put on mayo on their chicken sandwiches, that can be good.
FYI None of the people Olly named at the start are not from Nashville. Oprah was born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, Dolly Parton was born in Locust Ridge, Tennessee, and Taylor Swift was born in West Reading, Pennsylvania.
To be honest, if it's in a sandwich it's almost an obligation to try it once as is. Like I'm not a fan of tomatoes raw, but a BLT without the T is kind of just a MLB sandwich (mayo lettuce bacon.) So, if it's on a sandwich, try it with it because it wouldn't be on the menu if it was bad, but don't be afraid after trying it once to mod it how you want it.
From Knoxville, Tennessee here. I hate to inform them, they are no where near eating Nashville hot chicken. Im guessing the closest they'll get is the good luck and i doubt its the same hot level as Prince's
7:56 Don't judge me, but when I was a teen. I use to watch the Food Network while eating instant noodles and imagine my ramen tasted like the food they were cooking.
I hate hearing you guys may miss the Bama V Auburn game. That would be one hell of a cherry pop. Vandy v Tennessee just ain’t it. Nashville is a fantastic city. Be sure to hit the strip.
If you are visiting Nashville I’d recommend Pepperfire or Reds 615 opposed to the more commercialized Hattie AB’s or Princes. Other Nashville recommendations: Puckett’s ML Rose Black Dynasty Ramen Nada D’andrews Bakery
Do y’all have a camera person traveling with you? Also, is Aidens girlfriend going? Very excited for y’all and can’t wait to see and hear about your adventures!
You should compare the restaurants from the US to Britain and compare Aidan. I am with you 1000000%. I HATE PICKLES! Also, they missed an opportunity; they should have called it Good Cluck.
The pickles on fast food sandwiches are disgusting! I always throw them off. People are so inured to mediocrity that they don't even notice. I'm not much of a pickle fan but if you're in a good deli, the dill spears they give you there are 100-times better. Although, I can still do without.
Daz, you talking over your wife while trying to explain the different types of mustard's are...makes me realize why one of my ex-gf's broke up with me lol

I do like pickles, but I don't like them on sandwiches. To me it just puts this weird random sour spot in your sandwich. I'm not super keen on vinegar in general though to be honest.
Approximately 50 years ago my entire family got sick after eating there. Our bodies tried to reject the food the fastest way possible. 5 sick people in a Datsun. We don’t forget!

After having Nashville hot chicken on a work trip you are right. I spent a few days away from people after eating it.
