The PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a handheld game console developed and marketed by Sony Interactive Entertainment. If the vita had l2 and r2 trigger buttons, that is already close to being perfect that time. Sony is already advance that time and we know they are already capable of doing that even in the vita phat, but sony prioritizes revenue and purposely not putting l2 and r2 🤣 just like the switch, nintendo is already capable of releasing oled even in the 1st model of switch and they purposely designed that b*llshit kickstand of the first model of switch. They purposely did that so they can force people to buy the oled version with a good kickstand 🤣
They made the slim like IPS lcd to prevent the issue of Oled burn .. Cause you know the only solution of oled burns ps vita is to replace a new Oled LCD .. And we all know oled didn't have a long life span , just like samsung phone or any android device with Amoled lcd

@@kei-tronbell7114 PSP was far ahead what Nintendo can create just like ps console were ahead of what Nintendo can't ever reach, there was no one talking against PSP when it was released because if Nintendo try to make something like PSP back then (which was not possible for Nintendo) the prize would be more then a PS3, anything Nintendo create game or console cost so much that only stupid people will stay or defend Nintendo

Even though I never played with a PSP and PS VITA since they were released because my family was short of money.
Sony really wants to sell more and the ps vita didnt sold well so series died. Learn something from Nintendo sony. The wii u was biggest failure but instead of killing the idea. They enhanced the idea. And now swith had been sold more than 117million units. More than ps4.

It was the vita with its lack of marketing, exclusive games, the memory card, and the fact that the 3ds was dominating. When it was actually a fun handled that had a lot of potential to be successful. The library could have been better instead of making low res ports of ps3 games

Here is my reason why the PSV just sold poorly if Sony didn’t make proprietary memory cards for the Vida and just made it compatible with microSD cards or anything like that and the price of the memory cards you’re literally just playing spending hundreds of dollars if if if Sony didn’t do that PSV might’ve sold at least 80 million units
I'm glad that PS VITA failed. Decisions made during development and promotion of this console, were really bad. PS VITA didn't need camera, OLED screen and other pointless stuff - it only made it expensive and resource intensive, which made battery drain quickly. And this memory card scam.

I’ve seen a lot of mixed opinions and was wondering how SNES and GBA play on Vita RetroArch compared to native emulators on the PSP because the psp is struggling with Yoshis island snes and Mario world on gba
I got vita retroarch is to go to for gba games and some ps1 games adrenaline runs sega genesis, nes, gba color just fine including ps1 games

Yeah Steam Deck ftw. Best part is that I don't even needs to buy games since I already have so many on my Steam account. With how much more powerful the hardware is it can sure make the Vita redundant. Vita can be had for quite a cheap price on the used market tho!

There is a reason Nintendo is king of handhelds and it shows in history and also its because Nintendo make good fun quality exclusives of different genres something that both Sony and Microsoft fail to do so not only they got low exclusives but most are playable on pc

The vita was truly ahead of its time. It’s a shame that Sony really messed up my making the memory card proprietary and really expensive.
And not supporting first party titles to the system really killed it. The vita hardware could probably play all the games the switch library has, but not enough publishers wanted to port over to the vita.
Jailbreak and Game piracy pull the sony consule down to the mud.

PSP 3000 1000 2000's menu is much better than the Vita. The Vita menu looks like an old Samsung Galaxy smartphone. The old PSP remains the trademark of the Sony console.
