- Whack the throttle and four cylinders start converting air and refined dinosaur juice into angular momentum at a rate that would have enabled Wile E. Coyote to actually catch the roadrunner. 5,000 RPM feels powerful. 7,000 RPM is where you better be hanging on. If you’ve got the road in front of you and the cajones to hold the throttle on the stop all the way to 10,750 RPM, you’ll be using all 170 horsepower (at the crank) and experiencing the completion of the transition to hyperspace. It’s ridiculously good fun, and the rocket that makes this possible is called the Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally. Read more here: bit.ly/DUCATIm...

Bike sounds good… just so expensive. 😬
It's not cheap.
I own the Rally and I can't agree with the comment on replacing the side bags. You fail to provide the reason WHY they should be replaced as well. They are rock solid, attach with ease, and hold a lot. What is you specific complaint? I have used semi rigid bags in the past like the Lone Rider set and these are much preferred. Please be more specific why you'd toss these. As to the overall bike, it is fantastic. I do agree on the position of the shift and rear brake being too low. I have to apply a side shift with my foot when in off road boots.
For us, we spend most of our time on dirt. If we are on pavement... its to get to more dirt. Hard boxes tend to create more problems on dirt than they solve. We go to a soft luggage set up like Mosko Moto or Wolfman 95% of the time. It has more to do with the use case than whether the hard boxes are good or bad.

I'd have to sell my house to afford this wonderful bike...Maybe some day!
You and me both!
I'm lucky enough to have one on order in a few weeks, I didn't need my kidneys 😬
Congrats! You will love it
