That will be because the Speed Warp effect uses Blackmagic's AI - DaVinci Neural Engine, it's great for faking slow motion in video too.

Hi Jamie, Ha ha tried it and it worked so fine after many trials ..... my clips were a bit longer so the effect wasn't very cool but after reducing the length of the clips, all just went so well. Many thanks....

Kind of reminds me of a diffusion space with AI but this is doing it without AI which is actually really cool I would definitely use this on my next project except for my next project is doing a blog for a individual flying a b-2 and I kind of want it to be as easy to understand as possible maybe I can take a few of the clips and mess around with it

The habit of loading a preset on the camera every time you start shooting saved me from similar mistakes. Staying in timelapse mode is just one of many mistakes you could make, loading a preset is fast and guarantees the camera will be set up the way you want it.
It’s just the toggle stayed on.

What exactly are the RAW settings on your DNGs after you import them? Because i moved to editing my ARW>DNG into Resolve a while ago but when i import the DNGs they are all very underxposed and nothing looks good, i kinda eyballed everything to what it should look like.
Honestly I just eyeball it. As long as you get it to something that looks good that’s all that matters. Doesn’t matter how you get there

It's quite fun and fast to edit lots of photos in Resolve once you get to get familiar with the workflow.

Interesting technique. Next time you could take along a macro lens, get individual shots of all the splattered bugs that are on the front of the car, and morph between those. Although something like that may go against the RUclips guidelines.

Actually, you could use it for a music video like The Rolling Stones - Like A Rolling Stone (1995) by Michel Gondry. At that time, computers were not so powerful, I still don't know how he did it!

In this short first symbol of the car enter current clip from the next following clip.
Optical flow is pretty standard. Also, speed warp isn't heavy on your CPU, it's heavy on your GPU.
The tool is standard. The way I use it in this example, is not.

Bahahaha I went to the same parking lot to take photos one time. This kid was running and he took a photo of me standing on top of my car with my tripod with his phone...I think his photo ended up looking better than all of mine😂

Omg! Bro! Same thing happened to me. Every 10 frames…por a paid job. Lucky I went with a friend for secondary shots. I was able to survive this time. I actually asked Black Magic to make a warning message when its on. Hope they do.
