There could be any number if reasons for the Auto-Train stop in Ashland, many of which would have required the engineers action but not be his fault-signal issues, engine problems, dispatcher request, etc.
@@bubbles9052 You can also just ignore the comment (including mine) if you dont agree with it. I notice there is sometimes too much PTZ action when leaving it alone is good enough. This applies to other cams too like Flagstaff. Of course we can always just change the channel however, hearing other people's feedback can help improve VRF. In commercial broadcasting, moving a camera is a very delicate matter that must be done carefully. A shaky PTZ is best left alone. I wonder how many people noticed this and just changed the channel.
@@Juancheros The latency involved with a camera can often cause erratic motion. Chehalis offers a static camera for those who prefer no panning or zooming.
@@Juancheros I would like to add this tidbit....when the cam has no operator, there are more asking for it to be moved than not. It's tough to please everyone! BTW some of our action is featured DAILY in the GBs.
I would like to thank the person who made these compilations
I hadn't seen the ceremonial Blessing of the Railyard in quite a while. Blessings on all of us!
OOOOO Revelstoke now has a dragon!!! I wonder how he and Revy get along!!
Good to see REVY out looking for a picnic basket
That'd be pica-nica to Yogi! (Better than the average bear!😅)
Beautiful ending to some really great train clips. Nice.
I love the animals almost as much as the trains, thanks for including them!

10:50 Even Revy the Bear knows to stop and check for oncoming trains.
That was a great sun set and great to see the Bear,
It was a sun rise, 07:40 military time.
❤❤ Thanks VRF
Whats known about the very large caboose. Beautiful sunrise.
Enjoyed The Grab Bag ! Buddy Bear out and about ! Poor Horse You Can’t Make Me Go! Great Musical Sunrise 🌄
You mean the two unicorn princess horses?
Nice uninterrupted stretch of river to bounce the sun off of.
VR…. You’re the best! Thank you for all your beautiful videos!
3:15 Nice to see Jesus out and about, apparently after his big beauty pageant win
Wondering if there is some kind of a cult in the area.
So glad that USSC tunnel motor made the Grab Bag, I saw it go by live. Pretty neat!
Super way to end my day … I needed that. Well done.
3:15 Nice to Jesus out blessing the railroad. 6:04 I don't think the horse wanted to cross the tracks.

HEY 'Revy' goood to c you.....😀👍♥️
Stay warm, Revy old buddy. It's starting to get mighty cold.
5:16 Holy moly, that was close. DUI almost became DOA.
Wouldn’t you know it had to be in front of an Amtrak!!!
He saved a whole 15 seconds though.
This always make me feels happy when VRF post Grab bags
Always good to get a salute from Brad
1:43 I wonder what brings Burt Gummer out to Fort Madison. Although it's nice to see an actual famous person who does like trains.
He's been an ATSF fan for years.
Wow! Figment, Techy, and the 4004 (first microprocessor). Great grab bag.
Amazing 🐻
Open Hopper Hatch at Cumberland (15:30) Double-take at Revelstoke with the Bear and that Dragon - which I thought was cool.

Horses had to decide "not leg grabbing monsters"
Good to see the bear, lot's of action, power on NS, CSX, UP,BNSF, CN,Ferromex, Amtrak!🛤🚂
At 11:30 was that a Baldwin or Fairbanks-Morse?
FM
@@CRPULSE300thanks for the info. Hope it gets restored
That is a Fairbanks Morse H16-66, per Jim Boyd's book, Fairbanks Morse Locomotives in Color.
The autotrain still makes fresh air stops iirc, or it was just a roudy passenger
Michael Gross of "Tremors?"
Yes, and Family Ties.
9:55 I saw that happen live on the camera. Had to have been a PTC stop. That engineer is going to be in some DEEP trouble with Amtrak

Thought there was a couple together at one time? And do we know for sure that's Mr.?
I don't know anything 'for sure'.@@TinkerTailor4303
hello virtual railfan & it's is randy and i like yours video is cool thanks friends randy

Please disconnect the Chehalis camera controls. Most video segments from there are spoiled by the operator’s actions.
You're always welcome to watch a different cam.
