@@FlorianHWave There was line 1 and 3 in Petrzalka from 2016 to 2020, number 1 was going to train station and number 3 to Raca, this is why they shortened number 1 only to city center: Due to the fact that in the spring of 2020, the approximately two-month-long repair of the tram line in Rača on the section between the Cintorín Rača and Komisarky stops should begin, it will be necessary to ensure the shortening of tram transport to the Cintorín Rača stop. Due to the absence of a turning point in this location, the turnover of tram vehicles will have to be solved through a mobile headland. For this purpose, only two-way trams must be dispatched to line No. 3 heading to Rača. Since the number of two-way trams is limited due to the economy of procurement and maintenance, we can fully cover only one line with two-way trams, and therefore we chose Petržalka as the final stop at the opposite end of the route, where there is a headland turning point allowing the traffic of only two-way vehicles. The unserved part of line No. 3 in the previous version of the line line is served by the redirected line No. 1. If we left the operation of line No. 1 from Petržalka to the Main Station, we would not have a sufficient number of two-way trams for Rača and therefore the only solution would be a substitute bus service, which would be neither reliable nor attractive due to the lack of drivers and extensive traffic jams on Račianska Street." They never resumed number 1 back to its former route and I don't know why, I guess they're waiting for the new track to be built and after that they won't need the double sided trams here in Petrzalka.
@@marcin_kalbarczyk bro we literally dont have a complete highway yet 😭 maybe just R1 could be called complete but the rest are never gonna be built IMO
The only thing good about Slovakia's trains is the fact that students and pensioners can take them for free. And that there's still a lot of regional lines that haven't been disassembled. Otherwise it's a mess, propped up by a few EU-funded new trains. Most of the train stations are an absolute disaster (starting from Bratislava main station...), the online ticketing system is basic and doesn't work half the time, the trains are never on time, most trains are unreliable, old, either too hot or too cold. The legislation and regulatory environment is also a mess, the state operator is forced out of regional services in the pursuit of "free market economy" but the private operator messes up every few years and is replaced by another, while competition on distance trains has actually been anticompetitively erased. The main train line between Bratislava-Žilina-Košice is so bad that ČD won't run their best trains there because the tracks actually damage the trains. There's also no international service, just a bunch of Czech and Austrian trains crossing into Slovakia and the occasional surcharge "Eurocity" from Hungary to Germany.
Stopped watching at 3:19 and giving a dislike. Very poor video, misinformation, random stock images. Please, do not make videos if you create such nonsense.
