    • @ieorlich
      @ieorlich 2 года назад +1

      Otherwise, he will lose his bishop too. The thing is, why the rook instead?? I think, it's because the bishop can control the knight better than the rook does in open board. A bishop can trap a knight in some positions. Actually, that was the whole thing at the end if you see closely. The white knight was trying to avoid Hikaru's bishop controlled squares. But at some moves at the end, Hikaru messed up with a few pawns moves (I think). Take in mind, I'm just a casual player. Because after that pawns moves, white took control of Hikaru's back. ( I just personified Hikaru as the black king piece LOL)

    The video title is exaggerated. Abdusattorov was the World Rapid champion when this game took place. It is not at all unusual for him to win against Hikaru, since the shorter time controls are anyone's game.

    Fun Fact both of them are Saggitarius Sun and Cancer Moon for anyone who's into astrology,
    The Sagittarius sign always has an edge over other signs in chess. As they are innately able to calculate circumstances to capture or reach their prey. To prove this just look at the last 4 Chess World champions as all of them either have Sun in Saggitarius or Moon in Sagittarius with Magnus Carlsen and Viswanathan Anand being Sagittarius Sun and Kasparov and Anatoly Karpov being Saggitarius moon. Even Levy the most famous Chess RUclipsr is a Saggitarus sun and also guys like Andrew Tang who is arguably the best chess bullet player right now is also a Sagittarius. This doesn't mean that other signs can't be good at chess but it is clear that the Sagittarius sign will always have the advantage when it comes to chess.
