No Army of Darkness? Easily the best steelbook I've seen this year. That and The Fog steelbook
Those two are definitely near the top of my list and it looks like the upcoming steelbook for They Live is done in the same style.
Great to see so many SBs, especially since they're impossible to get in Canada anymore. Best Buy Canada only gets major label releases now, and they sell out online within hours.
I was with ya all the way till number 1.
Reservoir dogs steelbook (my favorite Tarantino film) And The last action hero.Cant wait for the training day steelbook 👍🤟

Runner up for me would have to be planes trains and automobiles even though the video quality is not the best. It's a nice steel book.

I will also say that Nope 4K steelbook was fantastic(minimalist perfection) and the Spiderman No Way Home 4K steelbook was also excellent in terms of the matte finish and artwork
I don't think I got 10 steelbooks this year, but I did get one of the best: Highlander (what a steelbook!) Other than that, I really liked The Fog, Army of Darkness, 3:10 to Yuma, and Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. Loved all of these!

@@midlevelmedia Scream 2 might be the only one from your list. Others I grabbed & really liked: Punisher: War Zone, Angel Heart, True Romance, Galaxy Quest (that might be a re-release).
Reservoir Dogs was my number one till the Highlander steelbook dropped. It's also the first Lionsgate steelbook I noticed they have "first pressing" stamped on the side it opens on, had to go back and check all the others I picked up, and most had it. Wonder if they'll start a reissue series as well.
Yes! That First Pressing stamp is pretty awesome
I live in Canada and unfortunately if I want these beautiful steelbooks I need to pay very top dollar. Only ones I have in this list is Scream 2 and Reservoir Dogs.

'Clerks III' steelbook was also a Best Buy exclusive. It should have at least been in your Honorable Mentions. The 'Wayne's World' steelbook was good; I agree with you there. Another two I liked that you didn't even mention were 'Catch Me If You Can' and 'Better Off Dead.'
I didn't get the Clerks 3 Steelbook, but from the pictures, I didn't love it.
@@midlevelmedia, I had a similar reaction the first shot I saw of it in pictures. Seeing it in person, I actually quite like it. Plus, it was the only way to get the film in 4K...

The Army of Darkness steelbook from Scream Factory shits ALL OVER Red Dawn lmao. It really is subjective, because the Red Dawn steel is pretty, but plain and boring compared to literally all the other SF steels from last year lmfao.
That's a great steelbook too, but didn't buy it.
