I just finished reading the Book you read in this video, it was really good! Thanks for the recommendation. Especially the last short story, really made me think.
Hey! I really like your videos! Boku wa nihongo no gakusee. I hope that's right haha.. I'm in Florida studying my Genki textbooks and watching a million youtube videos about Japan and the algorithm brought me to your channel 😊 I appreciate your advice about going at my own speed and I'm trying to wrap my head around sentence mining and how to do it. I've discovered Anki and have been doing my flashcards everyday (I pretty much have hiragana memorized 100% now) so I'm feeling proud that i can read it.. i just wish i knew what the words meant lol. Anyway, I have a long way to go but I'm hyper-motivated because I plan to buy akiya in Japan in the next year and I'm simultaneously learning about that. Anyway, I'm appreciative of your easy, breezy, and beautiful language learning content and am excited to hear more from you soon! Ps, if you enjoy AoT and Monster (Monster! So good!) you might enjoy Gintama. I'm just getting into it but it's so silly and it really cracks me up.
I think 灰羽連盟 might be the perfect anime for you to watch, it has a very lonely vibe and it has a lot of feels. I'd also highly recommend サイコパス for a psychological/crime anime.
Can I ask, when you do these weekends do you ever sentence mine/review cards? I know it’s all about immersion but do you like pretty much cut out anki for the weekend? Also very happy to see you back! I moved across the country and started a new job and it’s been hard with the whole work life balance thing. So I feel you! Just started back with Japanese after a 6 month hiatus and this vlog came out literally at the perfect time!
Ok but why did I keep saluting?
