really enjoying your videos. When sharpening a pencil for drawing rather than writing do you still use long point sharpeners? I got a derwent writing pencil set and the sharpener left a short point. Would you use the blunt setting on the KH20? or does it depend on the grade?

I happen to like long points for drawing and writing. Don't see much advantage to short points.

Would you consider doing a video comparing pencils within a cheaper price range for quality. I love the video and keep up the good work.

Black wings are made in Japan. So how do we know it is not made by Kitaboshi?

No idea. I guess someone might know.

Blackwing both graphite and the way the wooden slabs are glued together, have zero similarities to the Kita-Boshi pencils. So I'm 100% sure, Blackwings are made by a different maker. Also, quality is noticably higher on Blackwing pencils.

did it come as a set, that would be a interesting review , thanks for showing us that

No, I purchased it as a single pencil. If I get a set of pencils it is customary for me to review the whole set. I would never just review one grade out of a set.

Enjoy your videos a lot, great art skills, just wondering if you ever tried other media like ink or markers, and would consider doing reviews on it. Keep up the good work. 😊👌

When it comes to art, we gravitate to the medium that feels right for our expression of life expressed in our work. For myself personally, I find drawing with graphite pencils to be quite satisfying and impressive. Coming from a background of shooting and developing black and white film to paper as an art form, I just find working with black and white with graphite and charcoal to be where I connect. When doing color, whether in film two decades ago or with color drawing (ink, paint, markers, etc.), I feel disconnected and unsatisfied. So yes, I've tried other media (used to oil paint, but found it too expensive, smelly) but since I cannot really relate to those mediums I would not be the right person at this time to do reviews on them except perhaps to review pens for the sake of WRITING as opposed to drawing.
