Mario Gillette it's actually an old physics question. If an irresistible force (meaning that it is in motion and you cannot resist its force if you are in its way) meets an immovable object (an object that resists all force), which would come out on top? It's an impossibility as no force is irresistible, and no object is immovable, but it's a fun thing to think about. The metaphor works best with a strong guy going against a huge guy, like Hogan/Bundy in WM II.

I thought the appearance sucked. It was only like five minutes and Warrior did not actually have a full interview. It felt like Warrior had a cameo and it was all done. The appearance by Zeus was better, as he was able to stay longer. Sheri had an interview before and while Zeus made his appearance, so it was a pretty good segment. If you saw Zeus he almost burst out laughing, but pretended to be angry and clenched his teeth tight, to attempt to stay in character.
Comparing Hulk's version of whether or not it was predetermined that he hand the belt over to Warrior vs Bruce's is a reminder of why I never put too much stock in "shoot" interviews. These guys are *always* working us.
These guys were behind the scenes, so they've been involved in thousands of storylines and matches but remember this stuff from the Golden Era, but the very subtle details that fans want to know to dig deeper, often that stuff is either forgotten, confused with another match, or these writers/managers weren't there to see some of the small details take place. Although Cornett has one hell of a memory, same as JR, and remember things down to a tee. Just sucks that Hogan lies so much (used to think he just exaggerated and made stories ego-centric but after Cornetes "Hogan's biggest Lies" episode, between nearly crying in tears same as they were, I realized the dude still lives in the 80s and forgets that Google exists) Watch that short podcast clip and youll see why I say that..... Tales that are so tall they end up being hilarious.
I'm a Hulkster fan, I went for Hulk in this match, I thought UW was awesome. A lot of the workers and the office guys, Patterson, Mean Gene, Heenan, didn't like Warrior. I think they all had a conspiracy against him because he wasn't an ass kisser and he wasn't one of the boys. He wasn't a people person. He was a loner. Just like Brock Lesnar isn't a people person, I totally understand because I'm not either. I thought the Ultimate Warrior was great. He had the look and I thought he could work. He saved Wrestlemania 8.
There's a reason why Warrior is, now and forever, a HOFer.....he was there to light the crowd up like no one else could. He was about making the fans happy, which is what pro wrestling is supposed to be about. I place Warrior in my Top 3 of all-time talent that was genuinely entertaining, and though some may not have been able to comprehend his promos, I enjoyed the living fuck out of them. He was lit, and made me lit too, just by taking my mind on that thrill ride. And he didn't have to pander to idiots backstage either. If they didn't 'get' him, their loss. In reality, I think his mental state was a hell of a lot clearer than that of others who were his contemporaries then. And for him to have no time for Hogan's drama? That's cool too...I'm happy he stood up to Hogan as well, and wasn't afraid of calling Hogan a spoiled child. Another thing as well? Warrior actually helped Randy stand up for Elizabeth backstage too. Warrior, in his 2012 shoot, where he went off like a mother on Hogan, said that the locker room back then was full of sexual perversion, mostly toward her. And it's possible that him and Randy had chats about keeping her at arms length away from people like Hogan, which was fine too. Warrior had no problem, in terms of the wrestling world, standing up for true right and wrong, even if it made him unpopular with the established players on roster and management. For that, he receives, even now with him no longer with us, my eternal respect. Just some thoughts here. =)
FLORIDA GATOR I’ve seen a lot of shoot interviews and most of the wrestlers asked about him had no problem with him at all, some thought he was wild around the edges and some had their bad shit to say but it’s also like Hogan(which I hear more hateful things about)he had a select few yes but he didn’t have to like everyone, when a guy like Bad News Brown would say you’re a good dude you know you can’t be that bad regardless of what others said of him, even Ahmed Johnson said he was cool with him,it’s sad he’s gone and tbh I’ve never been a Hogan fan myself but have a lot of respect for him(sometimes I can’t really take all that negativity in after hearing much of it)it’s too bad they only got along for so long, they one time had a good friendship
As a fan this was HUGE there was so much hype Nobody knew who would win it was a great WrestleMania main event even though the match was whatever great ending.
I guess someone's never heard one of man's oldest expressions in the history of the English language "the irresistible force meets the immovable object" before...
Actually, Gorilla Monsoon messed up. When it was *Hulk vs Andre* , it was the "irresistable force" (Hogan) meets the "immovable object" (Andre). When it was *Hogan vs Warrior* , it should be been "irresistable force" meets "irresistable force". The idea of an immovable object is a reference to Andre The Giant's immobility in the ring. Andre was very stationary, and the idea was that opponents couldn't move him. It made sense. It doesn't make sense to use the term when describing Hogan or Warrior because they're both small enough to be moved.
@@jerry85g7 Yes I know. I watched it. You're not getting my point. Hogan = irresistable force. Andre = immovable object. Warrior is not an "immovable object". He's smaller than Hogan.
Legendary match I dont care what ppl in wrestling think on this one. No one knew who was gonna win so much hype and it was built up fairly well for 2 babyfaces
The term comes from an old saying "The unstoppable force meets the immoveable object." It's the two forces contradicting one another. Pre-dates Gorilla by centuries!
Warrior was totally different when he appeared on Live with Regis and Kathy Lee. Also, they didn't him much to work with in regards to heels during his title run.
Total bullshit by Bruce on The Ultimate Warrior's appearance on Arsenio Hall. He was *clearly* in character the whole time. Even a 4 year-old could tell you that just by watching. A lot of different wrestlers did that. Arsenio didn't mind that. This guy did a interview with Jason Voorhees. Not Kane Hodder, *JASON* in-chaarcter. It's one thing say that he wasn't personable or whatever, but the guy did what he knew _how_ to do. Entertain. It seems like people didn't understand that the Warrior understood what "sports entertainment" TRULY was and he made the most out of it. It wasn't his passion. So what? Millions of people around the world punch a fucking clock doing something they don't want to do to pay the bills. Some become very good at their jobs and excel at them even if they dread going there. Don't get all in your chest just because the guy drew money without being a mark for the business. He probably was a ass-hat to some people, but he also was cool people to others. No one likes to talk about THAT though. It's always a negative narrative simply because THEY didn't get along with him. I find it fitting that he was the one to be big and try to mend as many fences as he could before he died. Whatever bug Bruce has up his ass from Jim Hellwig he needs to get over that. Seriously. The dude is dead. Let it f'n go. It's over. Shit.....
This guy Pritchard still hates the warrior.what an idiot Pritchard is no wonder he lasted twenty years blowing McMahon. The warrior did his job and demanded his money.
I think the problem was, even with his push, Warrior did not live up to being the “guy” like Vince wanted him too. A lot of talent like Rick roode who he feuded with at SS didn’t like his attitude . Same with Savage as well who didn’t like the recklessness that Warrior brought to the ring. Yea it wasn’t his passion and it was just a means to an end for him, but at the same time the other wrestlers (co-workers) are relying on you to help generate revenue for the company. That’s what being the face of the company is in the wrestling business. Everyone has to hold there own and with Warrior being the main guy, business took a big dip. Warrior is not solely to blame, but he was the Champion at the time, he has to take the most blame. Just like a QB in football. If you win you get all the credit, you lose you get all the heat. Just the way it is.
derod2012 Savage always stated warrior was one of his favourite opponent even above steamboat he never criticized warrior ruclips.net/video/q_zyKgnfbV8/видео.html
You gotta remember brother I jobbed for the fire fighters dude just to make them look good they were supposed to get trapped in the building with me and I end up saving them on the return but Brother they went in to business for themselves and pulled me out !!!!

From a fans standpoint yes he was fine. But what the normal average fan isn’t able to see is that Hogan completely walked him through the match. He held his hand the entire match and took him step-by-step through it. What you don’t see or hear is Hogan calling the match and every single spot. The warrior would’ve been absolutely lost out there as most of his matches were squash matches in 30 to 45 seconds

I don’t understand this obsession with why there wasn’t a rematch shortly afterwards. Bruce can say all he wants that it’s “because it didn’t draw” but as far as we know a rematch was never in the cards. You’re not going to have Hogan pass the torch and then immediately win the title back (as much as he would have liked to, I’m sure), you can’t imagine HH jobbing out twice and the only other option is a screwy finish. Would have made ZERO sense for the story arc. Warrior winning a great match in an unexpected way and then Hogan bolster his legend by endorsing the new top guy was perfect, and an emphatic ending to that angle.
Who's stupid idea was it, to think Hogan's run in wwf was over in 90? He was as popular as ever. I just don't get it. Was Hogan going to retire and move to Hollywood to B actor? Is that why?
Hogan flirted with becoming a full time movie star but was never able to do it. The Rock did what Hogan had planned on doing. I agree that Hogan was still over though.
Hogan was still over but his gimmick was getting old, he started doing movies outside of wrestling and became less dedicated to the business. Whereas Warrior had a look and style that was more early 1990's as apposed to Hogan's 1980's style. Having said that, by the mid 90's and the era of HBK and Bret Hart, the business had changed even more and Warrior's gimmick seemed dated when he came back in 1996.
Question about House Shows back then where the same 2 people would wrestle each other town to town....Would each show basically be a "re-run" of basically the same match from the prior town? Also, would house show feuds often be Televised after weeks (or months) of practice between the 2 people, leading to them building a good format for a match? OR Were house shows just lazier matches where the wrestlers did less to avoid getting hurt? (I ask this being someone said Warrior had waaaaay more house show matches as Champion VS televised shows.
It's a shame Warrior passed away cause when he came back he looked like he was having a great time and MAYBE could have had some use on the show. Imagine Warrior and Bray Wyatt doing segments together that would have been funny
Yeah, nobody cared that the Ultimate Warrior won. Except for everyone I knew, because we were going apeshit with happiness that Hulk's strangehold on the belt was over (again) for a while. But sure, whatever. Not everyone in the universe was a Hulkamaniac.
I don’t understand. I’m confused on how a baby face WM main event doesn’t draw. In boxing or MMA you take your too biggest fan favorites. Fans will get into it and it draws big revenue. But in Pro wrestling it doesn’t reflect that. Maybe because Warrior really wasn’t a true top Babyface? Or Hulk wasn’t the same kind of draw he used to be? Like Conrad mentioned, WM 7 took a dip from 6 and 8 from 7 was a dip too. All were main evented by Hulk. I just find it intriguing
Donal Finn can’t believe I didn’t see this until now. A lot of good points here. They gave a year long reign to Warrior in 90 so it’s not like he didn’t have time to garner fan interest. When you said it was the “end of a journey” as oppose to the “start of something new” when he got the strap. Might be the best summary, but you would think the title reign would entice anyone to wanna stay because that’s where the serious money will come in. Bret’s mic skills were the only thing holding him back from 92-96 before he turned heel. I think he should have been heel champ and let Shawn be the babyface to chase him.
Hogan said he wanted to turn heel and debut the Hollywood Hogan character the next day, even though there was no Monday Night Raw back then and Hogan went off to film Suburban Commando for the next few months.
It's about your shoulders being pinned. Watch again,- Hogan may start kicking out at 2 and a half seconds but his shoulders are on the canvas when the ref hits three. It was deliberately done like this to show how closely matched they were and create an exciting ending.
It may not have made as much money as WM5, but people are still talking about this match to this day, and nobody talks about the WM5 match. (the mega-powers feud, yes... but not the match.)
Hogan in a shoot said that warrior was gased when the bell rung. Warrior was scared and wanted to end the match early, hogan had to keep him calm and told warrior to catch his breath. Says a lot about hogan and I truly believe that hogan was trying to help warrior and pass the torch. All the other stuff is just horeshit
@@Jacob-cn7ez Exactly. hogan is full of himself & couldn't even let the Warrior take the belt on his own after he pinned him, but had to steal the spotlight by giving Warrior the belt himself. I definitely don't believe Warrior was scared especially with the amount of times he had been in the spotlight before and the crazy amount of popularity Warrior had already as IC champ and the tremendous amount of pressure that had already been placed on him several months before WM6 (since back around Summerslam 89). Fuck Pat Patterson and all those stooges. I liked Bruce as Brother Love, but I just don't believe any of this bullshit. It's just low class to have shoot interviews like this when the guy being trashed isn't alive to respond.
Reef2480 well also Hogan made the decision at last minute to drop the title,I know he gets a lot of heat and I’ve never been a fan of his,but let’s face it,biggest show of the year, world title and biggest star of the company and pretty much the whole wrestling world, and he wins, like who could of taken that in???Warrior even had tears while hugging Hogan, just amazing how he was given all that in one night and tbh that’s how I want to remember their friendship that they once had,it’s sad Warriors gone that was a tough loss for me,to this day it’s hard to always believe, but damn what a moment and I would like to think Hogan had a lot to do with that.
That’s a pic from ‘96, and I thought he looked great then. The only time he looked a bit smaller was when he first returned in ‘92, but he hadn’t been working out for most of his time off. Within a few months, he looked awesome.
Great show, seriously neither of you know the century old physics debate on “what would happen if an irritable force meets an immovable object”? The presumed answer is “the end of everything” as reality itself would be destroyed as everything including space time would be drawn into the melee.
The point for title for title was whoever won, would have had both championship belts simultaneiously, which was not done before. Albeit, brief for giving up the I.C. title, that moment Warrior had of being champ with both titles at the same time, surpassed just being a single WWF World Champion.
ppl were watching Hogan leave because wwf was presenting the entire thing even in the lead up that if Hogan lost, he was done. even as a kid, we ALL thought Hulk was done. Warrior was the right call.
there should be a video on why the warrior lost so much muscle so quickly from 1986-1991 he had lost a ton of size and muscle yet they said he was 275 lbs, that would of been warrior on his wwf debut, he came to the ring walking and no music
@flash 22 i think normal food is better for muscle than steriods, can you beleive rey mysterios took steroids?? lol that just gave him his moms tits, he should actually do bicept curls it looked like he just took them then waited for muscles to grow, beef, eegs, almonds, tuna, salnon, youghurt, water, coffee, olive oil, rice, pasta, steamed vegetables is all you need , and to eat tones of it and wotk out properlly and rest recovery and stretching and posing, thats how you grow big muscle, it worked for me , i was battling most my life to gain weight and grow bigger muscle , im around rey mysterios height maybe little bit shorter or taller im 5.5 i was around 81-84 kg in my 20s then 72kg-75kg in my mid thirties when i had a 10 year rest from the gym, late thirties around 75kg-80 kg when i started working out in a gym again, then in my early fourties i learn how to diet for muscle mass and learnt how to workout more effectivly and went from around 82kg up to 97kg in two years my shoulders arms and back grew significantly and so did my skinny claves even tho i dont work them in the gym walk with nike downshifter 6 on the railway track grew my stubourn skinny calves from 14.5 inches up to 18 inches i was shocked, now im 5.5 212lbs of solid muscle thats lucreed hulk hogan ultimate warrior zeus crossed with rey mysterio is my build lol
@flash 22 dare i say i have better builds than them no steroids no tablets nothing, food is what the body needs not chemicals , building big strong muscle isnt even really that hard after youve been working out most of youre life , i been going to the gym once a week for years i destroy everyone in the gym i like when the pro rugby players come in lol i make them look weak they give me that holly fuck look and i say i was a rugby player too, occasionally you get the real muscle freak heads come in the ones that are like 370 lbs the pro body builder type absolute muscle heads i cant beat them, they are very strict on diet and all of that, i drink alcohol and smoke weed, thats probably why i have a wwf muscle wrestler build lol, gota have a ballance i train hard i play hard , those pro body builders are miserable, im more of a muscle pro wrestler build like warrior ,hogan, zues, barbarian type build they get slaughtered in pro body building expecial hogan lol he looks like boiled liver
@Nathan gamezio ahahahaha, no save you money and youre organs, eat beef, eggs, almonds, salmon, olive oil, water, coffee, youghurt, you grow much bigger than on those
yo I heard Patterson say it himself and it wasnt a fuckin supply closet. He said that Warrior preferred to dress just by himself and he had a big ass team locker room to himself and he found Warrior in that empty locker room all by himself crying and saying "I cant believe this is happening to me". He wasnt hiding from everybody in a fuckin broom closet so nobody would see him. wtf?
Jesus Murphy, "irresistible force versus the immovable object," is based off of the concept of two equal forces, in terms of the laws of physics, of opposite nature colliding. Whoever said, 'there are no stupid questions,' should listen to C.T. on this podcast. I wonder if Conrad's middle name is UN? Conrad UN Thompson...Pretty sure it is UN... C. UN. T.
I gotta say this was a really good interview. I expected this to be another repeat the same old hater bull, but its was good stuff. I love how they covered Hogan's jealous hater crap. The man can't handle Warrior was just as big as him, and did it in a shorter amount of time too. He was over with the fans, created a connection (psychology of wrestling) and could go in the ring. Even gassed he was still able to go 3 to 5 to 8 to 20 etc. minutes, and the fact he could do that was unreal. Anyone one else would be flat on their backs, and needed to be carried out of the ring. Hogan admitted in his book mentioned here, to trying to steal Warriors thunder at the end during their WM6. But he failed, cuz eyes were equally on Warrior, and he is one of the biggest guys in the industry to this day. One of the thigs that bugs me about Hogan is that after apologizing to Warrior for all the bull he said and spread about him at HoF. Hogan went right back to talking crap about him when Warrior sadly passed away. As for being champ, Warrior was good, and specially for the first 3 or so month of his near year run. But oddly the booking of him became meh. I mean they were still good, but it was way to many tag matches and facing the same 2 guys up until he lost the belt. And I'm not saying the man was perfect, but Bruce is right. People will try to tear you down as soon as you are put on the pedestal. But also, and especially back then, they would be jealous of someone who is more over then them. Even more so if they are made to put that person over, and would try to make that person look bad. As for best matches, well Warrior has had a number of great matches like the ones he had with Undertaker, Rude, Honky Tonk Man, Goldust, Dibiase, Owen Hart, Orlando Jordan etc. But his number 1 match, I'm torn between WM7 with Savage and WM6 with Hogan. Though I do lean towards WM7 as being possibly better.
RyuHayabusa751 I always said Hogan kicked out but earl put the hand down for the 3. Almost as if Hogan didn’t want to get pinned. I dunno I was young but I remember arguing with my pals sayin he’s tried to kick out on 3.!!!!
Warrior changing the strap was legendary. Warrior could’ve been really bigger star if he would’ve just kept to the business. Vince wanted him to be the face and When Hogan comes back Warrior could’ve beat Hogan again.
Warriors best matches were his house show run vs the Undertaker, not this match. That feud was over the moon in the house shows & I never understood how it wasn't a PPV main event.
So I’m JUST watching this for the first time so forgive me if I’m repeating someone else. But the irresistible force meets the immovable object is physics. It’s the unstoppable force running into an object that can’t be moved. It was more appropriate for Hogan/Andre. Btw, according to physics the irresistible force wins.

lets re-book. Regardless of what Hogan had going on in the summer of 90. Hogan wins. What do you do with Warrior? Because you just killed his steam, and dethroned him as IC champion. Maybe we do Hogan/Warrior 2 at SummerSlam in the cage. idk.
Bruce pritchard has a brilliant brain for wrestling when it comes to big time wrestling. has the knack of knowing whats good and whats bad. great experienced seasoned knowledge of what the wwf needed and how to deliver....but does anyone else get the feeling he is a hack for vince mcmahon no matter what? people, kids especially kids back then LOVED the warrior. something does not seem right..

How can you not know what Monsoon meant? Two forces that don't move come together.
Jim Pimmers But if they don't move, how can they come together? They would be stationary.
Jim Pimmers So we have two forces that stand there and stare at each other?

Mario Gillette it's actually an old physics question. If an irresistible force (meaning that it is in motion and you cannot resist its force if you are in its way) meets an immovable object (an object that resists all force), which would come out on top?
=)
Ragin' Ronic You put Warrior top 3 all time talent? Jesus Christ
@5.25 "f-- melters." BRUCE IS 1 of the FUNNIEST
CM ONHITME Hahahaha 😂
As a fan this was HUGE there was so much hype
Nobody knew who would win it was a great WrestleMania main event even though the match was whatever great ending.
Hopefully everyone is having a great day today
John O'Brien you too man

Great program. Bruce is funny- and sidekick is quick w/ questions
Hogan body slammed Andre
@@jerry85g7 Yes I know. I watched it. You're not getting my point. Hogan = irresistable force. Andre = immovable object. Warrior is not an "immovable object". He's smaller than Hogan.
Lol very good astute point; then again if were based anywhere near logic then we wouldn’t have anything to watch or listen to and comment on
Legendary match I dont care what ppl in wrestling think on this one.
No one knew who was gonna win so much hype and it was built up fairly well for 2 babyfaces
UW faced Dino Bravo (with Quake in his corner) at that edition of [Friday Night] Main Event.
You never heard that line "the irresistible force against the immovable object"???
And Conrad's questions aren't the greatest.....kinda answers his own questions 🤔
The term comes from an old saying "The unstoppable force meets the immoveable object." It's the two forces contradicting one another. Pre-dates Gorilla by centuries!
Irresistible force meaning any push or pull action that cannot be overcome. An object is not a force
"Fuck meltzer!" - Damn right Bruce.
Guys, chill. I'm sure Pritchard doesn't care about this as much as you seem to think he does.
D2K Prime Well fucking said! Warrior forever!
derod2012 Savage always stated warrior was one of his favourite opponent even above steamboat he never criticized warrior ruclips.net/video/q_zyKgnfbV8/видео.html
If Hogan was pulled out of a burning building, he'd still find a way to make himself the hero of the story
Ross TheNinja I was on your back Brother to pin you down Brother! Smoke rises Brother! Get you some of that clean air!!
You gotta remember brother I jobbed for the fire fighters dude just to make them look good they were supposed to get trapped in the building with me and I end up saving them on the return but Brother they went in to business for themselves and pulled me out
!!!!
Wish he had pulled out of Linda...We wouldnt have Nick

MintSauce ! 😂😂
I went back as an adult and I thought Warrior was fine!! I enjoyed it
From a fans standpoint yes he was fine.
I have to disagree with the comment of not booking face Vs face again until Austin Vs Rock. You are forgetting about Shawn Vs Bret at WrestleMania 12.
Bret was only face in Canada at the time. He was heel in the US.
Not in early 1996. Bret was still very much a face.
I think shawn was still kinda heel then.
@@kronos6948 lol what?

Bret v Shaun at Wrestlemania 12 was pretty much babyface v babyface.
lol alot of ppl were and still are pissed about that one too.
What episode of Bruce Prichard's podcast was this, again?...
Hogan was way past in 90. Ratings and buy rates had dropped tremendously with him as a champion in 89.
I swear if WrestleMania comes back to Canada I'm going
Question about House Shows back then where the same 2 people would wrestle each other town to town....Would each show basically be a "re-run" of basically the same match from the prior town?
Also, would house show feuds often be Televised after weeks (or months) of practice between the 2 people, leading to them building a good format for a match?
OR
Were house shows just lazier matches where the wrestlers did less to avoid getting hurt?
(I ask this being someone said Warrior had waaaaay more house show matches as Champion VS televised shows.
It's a shame Warrior passed away cause when he came back he looked like he was having a great time and MAYBE could have had some use on the show.
Imagine Warrior and Bray Wyatt doing segments together that would have been funny
I watched WM 6 w/3 of my friend's on ppv at their house I was going for Warrior but wanted to cry after Hogan lost and fell to his knees lol
I will always defend this match as being great.
Yeah, nobody cared that the Ultimate Warrior won. Except for everyone I knew, because we were going apeshit with happiness that Hulk's strangehold on the belt was over (again) for a while. But sure, whatever.
Not everyone in the universe was a Hulkamaniac.
People will shit on the warrior but jesus Christ he was way more over with fans the. Given credit for.
Pretty sure on a shoot interview about rick rude that Pritchard said was warriors best match now warrior has had 3 best matches hogan savage and rude
Hogan said he wanted to turn heel and debut the Hollywood Hogan character the next day, even though there was no Monday Night Raw back then and Hogan went off to film Suburban Commando for the next few months.
Hogans full of shit period
Hogan appeared to kick out at 2 and three quarters, not 3 and a quarter.
It's about your shoulders being pinned.
Watch again,- Hogan may start kicking out at 2 and a half seconds but his shoulders are on the canvas when the ref hits three. It was deliberately done like this to show how closely matched they were and create an exciting ending.
He clearly kicked out after 3
Hogan already explained most of this on Stone Cold's show.
700,000 in attendance here in the spectrum
12 months later though Hogan was back on top after WrestleMania VII & defeating Slaughter to win back the WWF Championship.
The saying goes like this, The unstoppable force meets the immovable object
If hulk had beat warrior after the match at wrestlemania 6 after the hug and we’d got the heel turn from hulk then wow imagine that!!
It may not have made as much money as WM5, but people are still talking about this match to this day, and nobody talks about the WM5 match. (the mega-powers feud, yes... but not the match.)
Conrad is so annoying I can’t
I agree. As much as Bruce kisses Vince's ass Conrad is the same way with Dave Meltzer.
Hogan would say that wouldn't he? Warrior ain't really around to defend himself now
@@Jacob-cn7ez Exactly. hogan is full of himself & couldn't even let the Warrior take the belt on his own after he pinned him, but had to steal the spotlight by giving Warrior the belt himself.
Hogan also said Elvis was a huge fan of his
Reef2480 well also Hogan made the decision at last minute to drop the title,I know he gets a lot of heat and I’ve never been a fan of his,but let’s face it,biggest show of the year, world title and biggest star of the company and pretty much the whole wrestling world, and he wins, like who could of taken that in???Warrior even had tears while hugging Hogan, just amazing how he was given all that in one night and tbh that’s how I want to remember their friendship that they once had,it’s sad Warriors gone that was a tough loss for me,to this day it’s hard to always believe, but damn what a moment and I would like to think Hogan had a lot to do with that.
In this case, it is likely. Running full speed in the Toronto Skydome would make anybody out of breathe.
Warrior created a legacy with a 1. Moto 2. Move set 3. Ring attire and 4. Weird Promo’s. He built his brand succeeding, stop the hate.
Why do they use the best Hogan pic and the crap warrior pic every time?
Nothing wrong with that pic
I always think he looks a bit 'skinny' in that pic. Obviously he's not but compared to his late 80s physique, that pic doesn't do him justice.
It's a pretty popular pic of Warrior.
That’s a pic from ‘96, and I thought he looked great then. The only time he looked a bit smaller was when he first returned in ‘92, but he hadn’t been working out for most of his time off. Within a few months, he looked awesome.
Actually Hogan wrestled Dino Bravo, not Earthquake
Great show, seriously neither of you know the century old physics debate on “what would happen if an irritable force meets an immovable object”? The presumed answer is “the end of everything” as reality itself would be destroyed as everything including space time would be drawn into the melee.
The point for title for title was whoever won, would have had both championship belts simultaneiously, which was not done before. Albeit, brief for giving up the I.C. title, that moment Warrior had of being champ with both titles at the same time, surpassed just being a single WWF World Champion.
Prichard is such a good interviewee; he pretty much gives clear and straight answers. Hogan seems like such a narcissist.
ppl were watching Hogan leave because wwf was presenting the entire thing even in the lead up that if Hogan lost, he was done. even as a kid, we ALL thought Hulk was done.
@Nathan gamezio ahahahaha, no save you money and youre organs, eat beef, eggs, almonds, salmon, olive oil, water, coffee, youghurt, you grow much bigger than on those
It’s champion vs champion dammit!! 🤣🤣🤣
the ironic part is every time wrestlemania has fallen on april fools day it's been face vs. face in the main event
#FuckMeltzer
Conrad wtf "Earthquake squash" it was called the Aftershock
yo I heard Patterson say it himself and it wasnt a fuckin supply closet. He said that Warrior preferred to dress just by himself and he had a big ass team locker room to himself and he found Warrior in that empty locker room all by himself crying and saying "I cant believe this is happening to me". He wasnt hiding from everybody in a fuckin broom closet so nobody would see him. wtf?

Conrad always sounds like an 8yr old asking these stupid questions !!!!
Jesus Murphy, "irresistible force versus the immovable object," is based off of the concept of two equal forces, in terms of the laws of physics, of opposite nature colliding. A 3rd grader could grasp the basic concept just from the words themselves, and a rudimentary understanding of science should expose the remainder. Whoever said, 'there are no stupid questions,' should listen to C.T. on this podcast. I wonder if Conrad's middle name is UN? Conrad UN Thompson...Pretty sure it is UN... C. UN. T.
Andre the giant 7'8 900lbs gene
The host isn't too bright
I love this show... but I can bet they won't do a ultimate warrior show on the network lol
Everyones opinions will probably differ from prichards....he was business, we're the fans
kicking out too late? haha ... you lost after 3.. who cares what you do after 3 haha.. thats stupid
RyuHayabusa751 I always said Hogan kicked out but earl put the hand down for the 3. Almost as if Hogan didn’t want to get pinned. I dunno I was young but I remember arguing with my pals sayin he’s tried to kick out on 3.!!!!
Watch warriors appearence on live with regis and kathy lee. Maybe the 2nd appearence. It was as close to normal he ever was.
He was trying to get in Kathy's panties
Warrior changing the strap was legendary. Warrior could’ve been really bigger star if he would’ve just kept to the business. Vince wanted him to be the face and When Hogan comes back Warrior could’ve beat Hogan again.
The irresistible force meeting an immovable object is not a unique saying.
Conrad obviously has no clue what innuendo means lol
And he says it's like every 3 fucking seconds. Annoying.
And what irresistible force and immovable object means
Dam hes got vince down perfect..id say vince is a good guyy ..but dont f with him 😆
Warrior was never the shits the absolute 🐐
So Many Things would’ve been different and legendary if Warrior would’ve just been about the business and not the money. The money would’ve came 1000%
You could’ve had Warrior feud with Mr. Perfect for the Intercontinental championship making it more important then the wwe championship in some way.
Best interview was Bad News on Arsenio. That was just pure entertainment. Bad News was trying like hell not to break character.
I guess everone just follows everyone and hates hogan
Warriors best matches were his house show run vs the Undertaker, not this match. That feud was over the moon in the house shows & I never understood how it wasn't a PPV
main event.
Warrior's best matches by a country mile were against Rick Rude and Randy Savage.
I use to be a huge Warrior fan until I saw this guys real side . R i p though
Hulk Hogan 4-Life.. 😎
Ultimate Warrior was the most player hated wrestler of all time. All these guys were jealous of the dude smh
Interesting to hear from Hulk that he wanted to turn heel at the end. To go back into the ring and cheap shot UW, morphing into Hollywood Hogan.
Jesus Murphy, "irresistible force versus the immovable object," is based off of the concept of two equal forces, in terms of the laws of physics, of opposite nature colliding. Hulk mania brother
lets re-book. Regardless of what Hogan had going on in the summer of 90. Hogan wins. What do you do with Warrior? Because you just killed his steam, and dethroned him as IC champion. Maybe we do Hogan/Warrior 2 at SummerSlam in the cage. idk.
Have a drink smoke a joint😀 hell yes😂😂😂
Love this podcast but it was THE UNSTOPPABLE FORCE VS THE IMMOVABLE OBJECT. Just sayying.
Right in the bread baskett gene
This was not a great interview.
And New World Wrestling Federation intercontinental champion, the World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight champion Hulk Hoooogaaan!
Because he should have put him over decisively, not kicking out a second later.
Duh.
And Hogan didn’t want to drop the belt. Shocker.
Ultimate warrior is my 2nd favorite wrestler so it was him I was paying attention to. Hulk sold the lost well though
