Fiona, this gorgeous flower bloom was so uniquely done, and the way you lifted the plastic, incredible outcome. This is so stunning. Thank you for showing us this technique.😊
What a gorgeous flower! I never thought all of those colors would give us such vibrant flowers! Thank you so much 💓 🧡💛🤍! I've got to try this one! It would .make a beautiful resin coaster as well!
Oh my goodness Fiona! I’m in love with this one. Funnily enough I cut off the bottom of two of our water bottles and am planning to d a bloom pour this week. Wishing you a lovely weekend inspiring one ❤
I DID IT. I finally figured out if i use a sponge brush to lay on the base coat it lays it more even. Not too thick of the base ends up over powering the colors on top and, not too thin so the napkins pulls the base off of the canvas and presto, my reverse napkin finally worked! Ty for all the tips
Reverse napkin? I tried plastic, what a mess. I also definitely used too much paint in the pour. First try, excited to try again, I will try the sponge for the base, just need to find the right thing to lay over the top.
I can’t wait to get the opportunity to have my own studio where I will be able to paint! It’s a dream of mine that I hope to accomplish in the near future. Artists are an inspiration to me and I have been watching various artists for some time now. Beauty in creation is my goal. Unique to all this is my desire to pass the time with experimentation . Thank you for your contribution to my journey through the inspired work that you do.
Absolutely Beautiful! I love the colors AND the outline of the petals. It almost looks 3-D! I would repair anything on this. Enjoyed tis video very much ❤
Thanks Fiona- these are just beautiful! Im new to acrylic pouring and have tried a few. Still not coming out as perfect but im getting there. I think my issue may be that some paints are to transparant and or how thick/thin my mix is. Can i ask which spinner you are using?
I use a cake spinner. Keep at it. It takes a little while to work things out but it sounds like you are understanding what can make a difference. Each technique can also call for a different consitancy as well. 😉
This flower are gorgeous!! I love the patern, the colors, the cells, you have a big talent Fiona for the flower and many technic too..💙💜💙💜🧡💛 I love the center and the angle of the flower. 🎉🎉 Do you have a difference between the plastic and the napkin? I'm curious. 🤩 I wish you a great day to you Fiona!! 💖🌺🌺
Thank you so much, Caroline 😊 I've tried a few different things now. I like the paper towel the best so far, followed by the plastic, the paper napkin tears too easily. If I could find a thicker napkin, that would be my choice.
So I just use acrylic paint to do this? Or do I add anything to the paint? I just love your flowers. I've been looking for something creative to do and I feel I've found it. Just beautiful.
Beautiful! Great way to add colour to the centre after you remove the cup. Do you find any difference between a paper napkin and a plastic sheet? Look forward to more of your lovely art and great tutorials!
Thank you 😊. They both have there issues. My paper napkin was a bit thin. If I could get a slightly thicker or perhaps large paper towel it would be better. As for the plastic, you can see there was an airpocket that caused the issue with this one. If I had spotted it I probably could have patted it down to make contact. Just something to be mindful of. Otherwise I quite liked to plastic and will use it again.
@@fionascreativecanvas thank you for responding. I saw your video where you first used this technique using a napkin. It was somewhat intimidating when the napkin at some point began to tear in a corner but you saved it. I only tried once and that was my concern, and I wonder if using paper towel is better given the fact it tends to be thicker. As to plastic, it wouldn’t have occurred to me about air bubbles. It is good to know. Thank you for sharing these tips.
This is a stunner, Fiona! Those colours are magnificent together, very beautiful. Is the plastic you used a type of baking paper? You really did a fantastic job. Mine never seem to work out, but I will keep trying! 😊❤
Thank you 😊 the plastic I used is called Go Between. It's for separating things for the freezer. I have tried it again. Will hopefully get that video up next weekend. It didn't go that well, so will probably try some thicker paper instead of the napkin I used In the first video next time.
My first one I bought from Amazon, it'sessentiallya lighter. My new one I purchased from an online hardware store but it's a proper chef's torch and much more powerful. I have it set to the minimum and still getting use to it. 😉
This is definitely the prettiest flower bloom Ive seen from any artist. This is literal perfection. I might have to give it a whirl Fiona! ❤

This is absolutely stunning!! May I ask what the plastic you are using is called?
I think for this one I used freezer sheets. I have tried a few different things 😉
Beautiful work. May I ask, what do you mix with your paint, is it just water?
I mix it with some Liquitex pouring medium and some Australian Floetrol 👍
So inspiring and different! I am going to try it 🤩

What a good idie to spin it out, will try that ❤❤

Hi Fiona, stunning. What is the brand of plastic you used? It wasn’t cling free plastic. It seemed stiffer than that. Thank you, D
