I do queen slime before mech bosses, the hook and armor are really good for dodging

Imo easiest way is to beat Fishrone after mechs, u have pretty good accessories, weapons and hollow armor wich allows to beat him without troubles if u memorise his attack patterns and dodge him with Queen slime mount. And weapon he drops can be used up to pillars or even on moonlord so u'll literally annihilate Plantera, Golem, Cultist and pillars easily. Basically u skip half of game by beating Fishrone after Mechs which again isnt impossible at all. And its just pure satisfaction to use Razorblade Typhoon so early in game
