Dave Toussaint ok dude understand, this guys going out of his way to teach a song he’s probably not a fan of that certain band he’s teaching, so he doesn’t care about what their traditional guitar choices are, nor should he care
Great lesson! I play in a band and we do tune down 1/2 step, which adds a darker sound and makes it much easier to sing. Something i learned while listening to Jimi Hendrix, which to the untrained ear sounds negligible. I must admit though, i like your style!

Nice lesson. The acoustic part (without drums in the start and after the solo) has 2 guitars playing, you're showing one of them. And at least one of them is a 12 string acoustic. But not criticism to the lesson, it's good imo. I'm doing a cover of this song on Cubase so I need to know all what they do from drums to guitars, vocals, etc. That's why I replied with adding some info on the acoustic part. Thanks for the lesson! :)
Thanks for watching, Luna! Just to clarify, Steve's guitar is tuned to standard tuning (low to high): E A D G B E To play in tune with the original recording, tune all 6 strings down one semitone, so the notes will be (low to high): Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb Hope this helps! :-) Just wanted to let you know, there’s a special sale that ends tonight (Monday August 30)... Steve’s Greatest Licks Bundle is now on sale. You get 10 of Steve’s best courses for a super-low price. Thanks for watching, Aidar! As Steve mentions, in the original recording of this song, the guitars are tuned down one half step, or one fret. So, instead of these being the open string notes (low to high): E A D G B E When you tune them down a half step, they become Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb So, with the strings tuned down a half step, when you play a G chord (for example), you're actually playing a Gb chord. But, if you don't want to tune your strings down, you can still play the song and sound great. @@GuitarSongsChannel thank YOU!)Thank you, this is very useful information for me, just when I turned on the song and started playing, I didn't understand anything because I played in a different key, but now I'll tune half a tone down and I'll play.

Good luck bending the strings like Ace does, Ace's string bending on the Strutter guitar solo is otherworldly.
That was excellent - thank you!
