@@giorgijavakhishvili2808 hey man the display is kinda dim, it's the one thing I wish was better, but I don't think this laptop was really meant for workstation tasks cuz my 1st cinebench score is 580 ish and the 2nd rightafter turns to 350-ish so u could say it thermals throttles a bit

If you mean the one above it looks like the screen connector to me at least.

Thats impressive battery.mine usually runs out at about 6-7 hrs before needing a charge.

Hi dude, you can see SSD removing at 6:25 it's pretty easy. For gaming i would recommend to use Desktop, or gaming laptop with good GPU, of course it will run the games, but it not created for it .

It's super smooth, dual channel DDR4 and 4c/8t makes it very snappy. But suggest the Yoga 530 or Flex 6, not the 530S model. The S model has bios issues causing it to throttle after 2 minutes or so. Surprisingly the non-S variant is very good.
Hi thanx for the video. So if I get it right, my 530S ARR ryzen 7 has one SSD slot but dual channel RAM whereas the intel has two slots for HD and only one slot of RAM ?
If that's right I'm all good (512gigs SSD)

The kid just spill my beer on the keyboard the other days. Since then the keys are having a weird noise and weird touch when typing as the liquid probably evaporated leaving it a bit sticky. Do i have a good chance to rinse it clean if i disassembly all throughout the keyboard? Thanks!

It's not the same the AMD version is coming with one M.2 port, but it little bit cheaper

Well, I can hereby confirm 2280 nvme fits just fine in there and gets held in place by the small metal hood. I have allready upgraded mine.

Hi mate, i'm not sure it will work on 2800-3000MHz, please see the spec from Lenovo here : lnv.gy/2JJChlK it says : 16GB max of 2400MHz DDR4, maybe the CPU is working on 2400MHz max

I haven't heard about some thermal issues in this laptop
I have the 2500U and I can tell you right now that it is thermal throttled. (honestly I would go for the 2500U in this form factor) The Lenovo Yoga is a really slim and light laptop with 15W TDP configuration, not 25W. so basically you can't sustain full CPU and full GPU load. My Vega8 downclocks to 600MHz within 5 minutes of CPU/GPU-intensive game titles (like The Witcher 3). What I do is to create a power profile for gaming, limiting the CPU to 50%, but full load on GPU, then I reduce in-game settings to be able to sustain locked framerates (30 or 60fps) with a 20% overhead, then I can sustain 750-900MHz clocks on the GPU, offering a decent gaming experience while being able to tackle rendering spikes. When I video edit I use the "Balanced" power setting, clocking up the CPU to 3600Mhz under load, but after a couple of minutes the CPU settles in at 2500MHz. It would be great if this computer had two fans instead of one. But the computer isn't bad by any means, we just can't expect miracles from these tiny form factors yet. You can get a 25W Ryzen Mobile, but then the form factor will most likely be bigger

Great video! I can't tell from the video, does it have a sata hdd slot? I saw a variant with ssd + hdd on sale, but can't really tell from the video where the hdd would fit.
this one doesn't have a slot for HDD, M.2 only

Why not. Dubble tape under, or some foam , plastic, metal to hold it.

For all you 2242-disappointed individuals: 2280 actually fits i there. Its held in place by the small metal hood.
Is that a 2280 with a SATA m.2 (like in the video) with the "B & M key" connector or a more normal NVME "M key" connector?
