- Palawan has many undiscovered gems. Culion is one of those. This paradise has the saddest stories but it also has the most inspiring story of hope.

My father was a soldier volunteer who brought food and medical supplies to the leprosy colony in world war 2.
your father was a hero!!! He helped many people! Culion during the war was very depressing
I randomly came across this exact video on Facebook, and I am both amazed and inspired by the beautiful story behind this beautiful island. I had never heard of Culion before. Saw this video just now thru a friend's fb story. After watching, i felt the pain and sadness that the people of Culion have lived in isolation. I didnt know this was the island of the lepers. Glad to have learned and gained new insights. When I return to the Philippines, I'll bring my family there and visit.

Oo kme din dati noong bata pa kme naranasan namin ma bully kc yung tatay ko may sakit ng leprosy 😢 mas may malala pa pala ng leprosy ng jolo sulu ang sakit ma discriminate lalo na yung may mga sakit sila mismo ang hindi lalapit sayu kahit ok naman na sila❤😢
