For a minute, I didn't realize how much I need to speak to that girl. Usually, I look at a pic of me as a smiling, over happy 3 year old little girl, who didn't know what was around the corner would shake her belief...okay. Forgive the rambling. This is such a great idea, Deon! I'm definitely gonna give it go.
My younger self probably feels alone. I left her around 39. An abusive relationship took the essence of me. She's now that little girl who has to sit, watching her mother not be who she could be because of abuse. She wants to run. Laugh. Create. Explore. But she cant. She has to wait til mommy's ok. What i experienced as a child now im now looking at myself through my own eyes😮😮😮 Wow! I recently start turning a room into a studio for clay work, wheel throwing, painting. Im running again. I am dedicated to creating a safe happy space for her...for me...at 46 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I feel like I’m coming late because I just found this channel last week. My confidence is down right now. And truthfully it’s going to take time to regain it. I’ve been a stay-at-home mom for years. My kids are now grown and my husband is away at work a lot. I’m 49 years old now and totally lost when it comes to re-entering the workplace and a host of other things.Not to mention I’ve undergone a life changing surgery this year. I’m hoping this channel will help me reinvent myself. I’m getting a life coach and have been cleared by my doctor to go back to the gym. Anyway, thank you for creating a channel like this for women like me because I was beginning to feel alone in my journey. Now I know I’m not. I hope to really make real breakthroughs with this community of wonderful women and truly change my life from the inside out.

The weight one. This week I got on the scale and the good feelings I had, disappeared. It’s been a few days and my confidence is still broken. The good thing is I love fitness and know what to do. I have to remember I had a few injuries that reduced my time in the gym. I’m feeling down now but I know I can get back on track.

I’ve yet to find one that is, but I won’t go down that rabbit hole. I’ve been (am) guilty of blaming God for my lack. I have a lot of work to do in this area.
