That Tildy, what a hoot to listen to her talk. She's trying her best to relate her thoughts. Frankie says: "Another log on the fire please." Some fine eatin' going on there, between the pizzas and those bundles baked up.
Isn’t that a great recipe! I’ve never seen anything like that before. Will be awesome to try it. Tildy is such a cute pup. Our dog loves to ‘help’ me cook and grill.

If the camp now is just a temporary stopover, I can't begin to imagine what a beauty your new place is going to be. And if you keep showing chow like that, you better plan on a big dining room.
The food looks marvelous! Pizza to begin and swiss chard rolls at the end !! I am sure Tildy got her share for the enthusiastic advertising she did!! Thanks for showing us the greenhouse and the garden--what a lovely season lies ahead with all the plants. God Bless and Thank you!
Pizza looked wonderful & the swisschard roll as well. Love your greenhouse & can't wait to see the garden this summer. Hugs to Frankie & Tildy. Blessings to you and Lori. 😊🇺🇸
I never thought to use swiss chard leaves as an outer wrap, but I will from now on! Thank you. I love how much you enjoy your green house. Back in the 70's, my father decided to get a green house kit. It was around the start of Mass and the Fed Gov't offering tax discounts and partial refunds on the cost of having a green house. Dad was restricted from growing plants in it for approx 5 yrs, but I convinced my parents to have a garden in their big yard which they both loved. Later they expanded that garden. My Dad used the south facing space under the greenhouse ( it sat on our big back porch approx 4 ' off the ground) to place multiple 30 gal steel barrels under it. He spray painted them black and connected them via copper fittings then added a cheap inline water pump. He then ran the pipe across the highest inside point of the greenhouse and back down to the basement floor joists heading to above the woodstove down there. Then he cut holes in the basement cast iron wood stove, ran copper pipe in a radiator fashion near the inside top of the stove, that pipe then was connected to a wrapped coil of more copper pipe that wound around a water tank and fed into it. Last connection was to feed it into the main house water tank. No more short showers or lack of warm to hot water ever. Lighting a fire in that woodstove heated the water more and the basement, in the colder weather. Later Dad put a set of sliding glass doors into a dining room wall straight into the greenhouse. When the green house hit 80 degrees, he slid the sliding doors open to help heat the big 2 level house. My parents lived north of Boston and for years this set up ended up cutting their heat/electic bill to about 400.oo on average PER YEAR! PS. when it got hot in the greenhouse in the summer, he added a white tarp over the greenhouse to reflect the heat away. Plus opened all the vents and used a box fan to circulate the hot air back outside.
Thanks for the smile. Has been a long time since it has been this dry in April. Dragged my fields in prep to over seed and the turkeys were behind me feeding on the seeds and bugs. Life is good.
Beautiful how you have built everything yourself so. I like it very much. Laugh, I think the dogs are the same everywhere, as soon as there is something good to eat, is whined and begged until something fell down quite accidentally. Greetings from Frankfurt
If your hands itch from handling the raw Swiss Chard it is because it has a high amounts of Oxides in it. I found that out when I grew it. Kale and Spinach have a much lower amount of them. While Rhubarb leaves have double the amount of Swiss Chard, making them poisonous!

Excellent video my friend,,,,,,,,i am hoping i am still here for that first tomato BLT of the season,.ya'lls green house looks great and the meal Miss Laurie made looked so good!!God bless my friends!!!
Great video JC. I have to try Lori's recipe. I read an article on the stone walls of new England many years ago. It stated that the settlers were way to busy to be building stone walls. When they came across a rock they would throw it in a pile of rocks, thus having their fields full of rock piles. It wasn't until the German immigrants (Along with another nationality, which I can't remember) showed up and realized there was very little work for them. They were accomplished stone masons so they traveled around asking farmers if they would like to have stone walls built for just room and board, and sometimes money. That's how the stone walls were originally built. Oh, and the walls were rarely property lines. Most were pasture dividers.
Your plants all look wonderful! I would drop the seeds from my snapdragons in the soil beneath and around the parent plant and they would regrow themselves. Just as the first was dying back the new one was taking its place. For the Zinnia, Marigold and Daisy I will deadhead and lay on the soil as well to dry out. Once dry, push them under and new will grow as well. Too many there, dry elsewhere as sometimes they will start growing before they got covered with dirt. They always look full and flowering non stop due to the different ages of the plants. I knew those Mums and Geraniums would come back. I've done it for years, lol
The plants in your greenhouse look awesome! I like the garden theory from the 1700’s too! I love history. I bet there’s an old dump on that property someplace. That pizza sure looked wonderful....yum!
