At 2:26 Captain Obvious tells a first-call professional oboe player that he has 2 bars rest, and then he plays on the 3rd bar. Talk about trying to pad the dialogue... Oh, and then Shelley Hack just walks in and busts a take.
I love the recording studio scene; The band starts out sounding like the worst HS band in the world. But after Jenifer shows up, he gets them to sound so beautiful. Bravo!
+radiodf I'm always amused by how the recording process is depicted in films of this era (Welcome to LA is another great example). It bears almost no relation to the actual process of recording at that time.
wow, to have such a beautiful song performed before the pretty girl that inspired it... that should be the ultimate high for any couple in love!!! i believe this clip is now a youtube classic, it certainly deserves to be among the most remembered movie moments!
I love this movie and have been searching for years for a DVD of it and finally found someone selling them. They prob made a copy from a VCR but the quality is very good. I bought one and it was worth the $9.99. I got it on sell.com.. Another guy is selling one at a higher price. Den
