I wish teenagers still act this way. I remember this song was popular when I was young in the Philippines. I asked my cousin to name her daughter Bernadine because it is a beautiful name. She did name her daughter Bernadine, and now she is a mother of 8 kids.
I wish people in general would still dress like them as well. I'm sick of seeing so-called men dressed like big toddlers in baggy shorts and t shirts. Oh for the days when shoes were shiny and trousers were pressed!

I think a lot of boys were jealous of the many male stars that came along and made us faint and swoon.....as for the corn we didn't know any better than what these movies offered.
For Natalie Schafer this was the first time I have ever seen her in a movie. Other than Gilligan's Island or the Brady Bunch episode she was in I never seen her acting. As for Janet Gaynor this is the second movie I saw her in other than "A Star Is Born" from 1937. Overall a good feel good movie

Of course we all don't experience life like those depicted in the movie, but for me there were snippets of what I have experienced. I saw this movie in '58, when I was 15, then saw it again several more times ...I liked it that much. Of course I later bought the Bernardine album that featured all the movie songs...My favorite was "Technique". Funny to watch it again now that I'm 78 ! rusher33707 The “religious crap” to which you refer was the biggest part of Boone’s life from the beginning. He studied for and worked in the ministry from his days as a teenager in (Nashville) high school, working with kids and singing in church. He married the daughter of then-country music star Red Foley at 19, and stayed married to her (she died just last week, as it happens) for 65 years. Elvis and Pat Boone traded places in the top 40 regularly from 1955 to 1959, with Boone actually having one more hit song by the time the rivalry ended. Though Boone was married (and had four daughters by the time he finished college at Columbia University), he was still idolized by teenage girls. His Christian faith has always been the primary guiding influence in his life, and not something he happened upon later.

Thanks ever so much for your kind reply, Richard. Probably they have some issue with the copyrights on the music. Although the songs are all on RUclips for everyone to enjoy, so why not the movie? And it beats the crap out of me to understand why RUclips would leave a musical on with no audio.

Movie
the best
If you can get past the idea that these are supposed to be high school students it's not bad. This is pretty weak for the first 40 minutes or so... but picks up.
Pats "friends" are all gay, but it used to mean something different back then 😂😆😂
Sadly NO AUDIO, too bad because the video is perfect color without imperfections, etc. Anyway you can repost a fixed version?
I'm sorry youtube removed the audio about a year ago because of a music copyright complaint.
That's odd. I just watched it and the sound was ok.
Too bad that Pat and Terry Moore weren't paired here.
Me too !
Why no sound?
youtube copyright claim on the music, I had it up for years with no problem until 2017. Sorry nothing I can do about it.

How do we get the audio?
Sorry I posted it 5 years ago youtube removed the sound about 2 years ago,
Thanks ever so much for your kind reply, Richard. Probably they have some issue with the copyrights on the music. Although the songs are all on RUclips for everyone to enjoy, so why not the movie? And it beats the crap out of me to understand why RUclips would leave a musical on with no audio.
Try it again, I just watched it!
