I don't know who honestly thought the Rangers were better than the Devils this year. Im a Rangers fan and I knew the Devils were a better team during the season. In the playoffs, it was only a question of which Devils team would show up, the inexperienced nervous team, or the one that imposed their will with speed and physicality, and both versions showed which is the only reason it went 7. I was honestly shocked when the Rangers won the first two games the way they did, and felt they needed to win game 3. The Rangers team from last year could have beaten the Devils. The Rangers team this year was a huge setback from what they were last year, and Drury compounded the team's issues by signing past their prime players. I hope the Rangers learn from the Devils on how to build a cup team. Hughes looks like a star in the making, while Kakko is just average at best. With No Lightning or Bruins in their way Devils have a good shot.

@@Heytherebuds I don't know how much of this is on the coach vs. the GM. You heard in the post game that gallant doesn't really care about talent Even though it's great to have. That to me seems like an attack on the GM. The only issue I had with gallant is he did not make many adjustments and the team seemed to quit a bit so I don't know. I just know that if I were to put blame, I did not like the players Drury brought on this year, cause they did not address the weaknesses this team had.

Fantastic series,great playoffs so far,so many great teams,my tampa bay boys just didnt have the same fire as past seasons,getting old i guess,boston is out,hahaha,never thought that would happen,defending champs are out,colorado played some of the best hockey in the last 2 months,wow,they won their division,after being so far behind,but they bow out in the 1st round,and seattle,,,what can you say,this year they are as good as anyone!!
