I never heard about this game... It seems to be quite advanced for a NES game, with this amount of cutscenes and many different looking levels it looks *almost* like an early Megadrive game.
Man, I remembered the last quarter of this story differently than when I played this years ago. Kind of a gyp that we don't see what happens to the others though. I kinda wanted more than just assuming everyone was able to go back home lol. (Also, if humans are from Mu, then does that mean they're moon people?)
