      Hi there!
We confess, it may not be always easy to travel around Poland, especially in smaller cities (communication issues) but Guys, you're more than welcome! Kraków definitely changed a lot since 1989, but other cities too. We'll be happy to be your host in Katowice too if you decide to stay longer.
      Cheers!

Hi, I hope someone can help. I am a British/Polish dual citizen (low level Polish) and I am moving to Łódź in 10 days. I have rented an apartment no problem but I need to set up the home wifi. I only became a Polish citizen last year (by descent) so I have a passport and PESEL but I do not yet have an ID card because I haven't been in Poland since early 2021. I would appreciate some advice on how to set up home wifi (I do not ant TV, mobile etc). I'm incredibly frustrated. Whenever I try to book installation of wifi, it asks for PESEL (no problem), but also ID card number (problem). Obviously I will apply for ID card when I get to Poland but I need home wifi immediately for work purposes. Plus no website seems to have functionality to change mobile country codes. I'm not in Poland right now so how would I have a Polish phone number? Can anyone help or suggest wifi companies in Łódź?
    Dzięki!

      Hi Tao!
We know how hard all these agreement cases may be, that's why we always provide WiFi in all our apartments. Are you sure your apartment doesn't have any? Try to talk to your landlord, maybe they could support you in that? Also, you can get a Polish number immediately after arriving in Poland and it usually has some data transfer already.
Maybe a coworking for first moments would be an idea too?

@wellcomehome I was thinking about a co-working also as a temp solution. I was thinking about Katowice as an option!

Thank you for watching! And we're really sorry to hear that 😔 The situation in the city is improving, really, so let's hope such acts won't repeat. And we're really better and better at speaking English. It just depends on people :)
