Man, we just need a Game that's like this, but focused on the OG Dragon Ball story. This honest to gosh feels like such a breath of fresh air.
I agree this small dlc was more fun then the entire Android saga in the game because it changed stuff up

I remember watching this arc after seeing DBZ, and seeing all the background characters get to be important was wild lol. "Oh! Piccolo used to be the Vegeta!" And "Tien used to be the Piccolo!"

I know. I first got into Dragon Ball around the Z era, so I was used to Piccolo being an ally with the occasional rivalry thrown in. I'm so used to how Piccolo is now that I didn't know how much of a villain he was back then. 😅

That's because the first time he used it, someone jumped in his mouth and stole God from him.
Because it’s useless to become a giant. It doesn’t change anything strength wise. All it does is put him at a disadvantage since he is just a bigger target like Goku said
To add to what others said, that isn't the same character anymore. We refer to them as Piccolo, but current Piccolo is a new being made up of Piccolo, Kami, and Nail. While Piccolo claims to be the main personality, the other two have had an obvious effect. He has three lifetimes of memories that existed before he was born, so things less important things fall by the wayside I imagine. Like growing in size.

Goku sounds slightly younger unless in battle, while Krillin doesn’t for some reason.
I hope this dlc is a sign that we may eventually get to play gokus whole story from being found by grandpa gohan to wherever the plot is now.
