It's not shitty at all actually. I find a lot of metal listeners to be closed minded with their music tastes. I listen to 90's hip hop, punk, and all sorts of stuff.
I am a HUGE Priest an. I also like NIN (Rezner is the producer) Everyone wants to do a side project just to let out certain creative ideas that don't necessarily fit into the current band they play with. This would definitely not work for Priest but it certainly works with Halford and John 5 with Trent producing. If you don't like industrial, thats fine. But for industrial music, it really is good.
I wish the reunited Priest had played this live. The guitar solo even was written to simulate Tipton's shredding and KK's weird sound effects. It would have been much more interesting than hearing the same old "Living After Midnight" for the 359th time.
This is still metal, it's just not your kind of metal. This record gets a lot of hate, but I'm starting to think it's mostly from spurned Priest fans. Voyeurs is one of the greatest industrial metal albums I've ever heard. I can see how it's not for everyone, though. There are lot's of metal subgenres that I absolutely cannot stand. It's a shame he only did the one industrial record.
This track and "Lucipher" were never on the 11-track 'Voyeurs' album. Love both these tracks. Was this a special/deluxe edition? Can't find any info on them at all.
Does anyone have the "pre-Reznor" demos that were up for free on Rob's site back in the early 2000's? I can't find them anywhere n' I don't think they're on his site anymore. I know this is one of them but I'd really like the rest of 'em!

I don't understand how anyone can't like this stuff though.
Are there people that dislike it? Why?
@@LordCapsis I don't know. I'm just saying stuff. I like this alternative music.
