Your child wants to surprise you for a holiday and they don't know what to get you. They notice you have some old records but no record player. They see this video and start working on it themselves. They tell you to close your eyes one day and you do. You start hearing one of your vinyls start crackling and playing one of your favorite songs. You open your eyes and you see your record being played on this contraption, what do you do?

In our old gramaphone record players there were no amplifiers and speakers sound was reproduced in this way. In a good sense this is a best attempt. With the same you can make dynamic pickup.
it actually is fine if you use older vinyls from the 40s and before because they were made of materials designed to withstand the wear and tear of an needle due to the fact they were played in gramophones which work using this same principal
