My first show was a few weeks before, in Louisville 7-6-90. I only got to see Brent once. Its so ironic that time truely does wait for no one. It makes me even more grateful for Ratdog, Phil and Friends, Planet Drum, the Trichromes, etc. A very wise person told me once, its not the things you do in life that you regret, as much as the things you dont do, that you regret. If you have a chance to see any of the Dead family ,GO. Go now and dont wait for tomorrow, for tomorrow never knows.
THE BOYS AT THERE BEST!!!! I knew Bret was going to make a world of difference when we saw them play Spartan Stadium, San Josy CA That was the beginning of the New Era RIP it up
@walliwalibus I have friend that's in the "family", and according to him, Jerry and Brent had a HUGE blowout during the day before the show and right before they went on Jerry said to him this may very well be his last show with the band. Believe what you want...I wish it wasn't true, but my friend has been "inside" since 81 and he has no reason to make shit up....especially something like this....
Yes. Definitely not Deer Creek. I was at Brent's last 11 shows. Too bad Deer Creek, which was an awesome venue to see the Dead turned into such a debacle on their final tour. Didn't really care much for the Tinley venue. First show was a nightmare to get into. Missed the opener Greatest Story>Bertha due to the traffic and slow pace of letting people into the venue.
lmfao i left wmp running last night. so when i put my headphones on i wondered why grateful dead sounded so much like the live rendition of paparazzi by lady gaga
@muckstar23 no, but the authorities in my home galaxy have informed me that he is from a star system within the milky way. he's really not all that strange, in the larger scope of things.
