Kevin I have two KE 175 carburetors and picked up a KE 125 carb on ebay a while back. your right about both carbs being the same but i did notice that the throat is a bit smaller on the KE 125 carburetor, slides are identical. Thanks for the video.
G'Day, does anyone know if there are any aftermarket forks available for the KE175 i have a 78'. Would later model Kawasaki forks fit say from the 80s KE?. I use the bike for Vintage MX. Cheers ✌️
I have a 175 and In need of both speedo and tachometer. I also need the complete harness as someone made my bike strictly off road, wondering if I could use everything from a 125..? I may have to make a harness......
Kevin, maybe you can help me. I just bought a 1976 ke175 that's been rebuilt, it ran good on my first ride then the throttle broke on me. I put the new one on, adjusted the cables, but it won't start or revs real high. I've played with adjusting nut and cable, but no go on it. There must be a sweet spot for the cables and the carb to work together. I would be grateful with any advice you could give. Thank you
Kevin you should do a rebuild video on the KE125. I know I would pay for that type of instruction. I bought a video from eBay on rebuilding a Honda 90, I wish there was something like that for my KE125
My cousins twins brothers that live in Tennessee had two Kawasaki 125s back in 1974 they were two different colors one was brown I think. ?. I was just learning about motorcycle back then 😂
I recently purchased a 74 kawasaki G3 I had a similar bike as a kid. it was starting and running just fine when I bought it, but it wouldn’t go. I watched your videos on how to adjust the clutch and the oil pump and I got it going again. The next weekend, I took it out to take it for a ride. It started up But didn’t want to stay running. I kept it running under throttle for about Three minutes let go the throttle and it died and wouldn’t start up again. The spark plug is clean, not too wet. It has a brand new battery has strong spark. I watched your video and how to rebuild the carburetor. I did that, it’s still not running. i’ve watched the videos I’ve bought the repair manuals. it has air, It has fuel it has spark. I don’t get it. This is so frustrating.
I need to know what that thin rod or pin that goes from flywheel side also the cover plate has something to push that thin rod or pin in and out and also what the cable undernether do in that same area
Do you plan on rebuilding a ke175 engine? I have one from 77 I want to rebuild. I got it with the top end already removed and the the sides. And I am at a loss at where to begin
I sold a ke100 for $250 1974 1976 I believe it had no side cover for the carburetor no air filter no gas tank everything else was there and worked my question is that I lose out on the deal??
Kevin my 1975 G5 makes this zaping/cricket noise under the gas tank when I rev it, it sounds like its coming from the ignition coil but the bikes runes perfect no misfires so I'm not sure if this sound is normal. Does this sound familiar? If you wanna hear what I'm talking about, you can hear it in this kids video, its very clear at the 11 min, have you heard this? Thanks! ruclips.net/video/G2TQFu1YVBw/видео.html

Hey. Thanks for these videos. I’ve used them repeatedly while I restore my ‘75. Quid question: will the ke125 run with a dead battery?

@@2strokeguru yes. You are a very good instructor and if you aren't selling DVDs you should be.
@2strokeguru do you know any piston rings other than OEM you can use for 76 ke 125A K1, any help would be much apreciated

Will the rubber boot that covers where the throttle goes into the carb from a KE125 work on a KE175 from the same year?
No they are different
Any idea where I might find one for a 77 Ke175? Not much luck on eBay.
Hi. Can you put a ke 175 cylinder on a ke 125 engine?
No different
@@2strokeguru thanks. or is there any bigger cylinder that would fit? or with minimal modification ? thanks
That KE 175 is the same bike I have. Having trouble with the carb and oiler.
