See my Crown Victoria Fuel Pump Replacement FAIL! video to demonstrate your point. I used a cheapo pump and it quit after two days. Nothing worse than having to do the same job twice. Also be sure to change the fuel filter too. Could be reason both pumps failed. Old filter was tough to blow through.
Thanks for making the video! You hit on some very useful points, like how to bypass the driver and where to push on the clips to release!
Thanks a lot to me, it worked, I put the baypass cables and started the car.
So the fuel pump was the problem or the long cable?
Fuel pump. I think an old fuel filter may have caused pump it fail.
Need to install a ford (oem) fuel
Pump assembly. The aftermarket cheap pumps are junk.

Need to put some more writing over the plug so we really can't see it
I put the writing with correct info so no one would notice I had the wrong wire connected in video. Oops...
@@KentDiego wat if the connection gets hot when jumping it but it does start the car?
@@1loud95obs3 Sounds like fuel pump is bad. Be sure to replace fuel filter too as I feel a restrictive filter caused my pump to go bad.
@@KentDiego thank u
