I will be trying. Awesome video. Quick Question. Should I keep my eBooks that aren't 100% completed yet with the A+ Content and extra added keywords and not enough reviews yet, listed on Amazon...or should I deactivate them until they are 100% ready?
As a fiction author, I would never use AI for writing. It's good if you're having issues with paragraphs and works well with blurbs, but an overall book would be stilted. I've read some of the writing done and AI uses a lot of adjectives and adverbs. You feel like someone is telling you a story instead of putting you into the mind of the character.
Check Sudowrite. I write my stories but use that for editing because it helps with spell checks and phrasing some stuff better. so it wont write the story for you but can edit it better. I struggle with editing and honestly cant afford an editor so I use that
I totally agree. It appears to me an awful lot of people see AI as a way of making easy money from publishing without the necessary skills and experience gained by doing the creative story telling itself. It's not looking good for 'real' authors, quite frankly.
Nice to hear from you. I have a content suggestion for you based on using chatgpt for writing . Let me know if you’re interested in hearing them. I believe it would add value for your brand .
I've followed the experiences of a couple of mainstream authors who have already experienced the downside of AI - meaning someone has not only used AI to scrap content from another person's boo,k they even published it under that author's name! I've seen Amazon's reply to these issues, and they did NOT deem even blatant stealing like this as ban-worthy. So, I don't where you've come up with your determination of how one can be banned, but Amazon is not on the same page. In fact, there's already a movement to take a legal path to get them to establish standards - but no one things it's going to happen soon.
Yes. Amazon is not banning books written by, or with, AI. It is asking authors to voluntarily disclose the AI portion though. If Amazon had the ability to find AI content accurately, it would not ask authors to disclose that info. It would just scan it themselves. No software screening program is accurate enough to sniff out AI content. AI is evolving so fast that screening software isn't able to keep up with the changes. And authors can fine-tune an AI model to write in their voice, so I dare any screening software to accurately point those out. It is true that AI can't write a book well for my genre and writing style, but it is getting closer to that level. Other genres and styles are a good match though. And no author would use ChatGPT to write a book. It's the worst of the bunch.
Will you be giving this method a try? 🤔 👇🏼

Agreed. There's a lot of nuance in esp fiction writing that AI isn't able to accomplish yet

Thank you it was really helpful to use it in proper way.
so basically this video is click bait
At least he was honest and said he didn't know anything about it upfront. It's too bad he is giving bad info though.
Indeed
Mr Dane can I ask you which app or software you used to clarify your face in the photo you put on thumbnail? which made it a bit cartoonish

So when I use quillbot, should I go ahead and tick non AI generated content?
