ABOUT CHICAGO FIRE
From renowned Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf ("Law & Order" brand) and co-creator Derek Haas, the writer behind "3:10 to Yuma," comes Season 8 of "Chicago Fire." The family inside Firehouse 51 knows no other way than to lay it all on the line for each other. Capt. Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) leads the Truck Company and brash Lt. Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) runs the Rescue Squad. The firehouse also includes Battalion Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker), a fireman's fireman. Paramedic Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) returns alongside seasoned veteran Christopher Herrmann (David Eigenberg) and Randy "Mouch" McHolland (Christian Stolte), as well as resourceful firefighter Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo). Completing the team are dependable squad member Joe Cruz (Joe Minoso), paramedic Emily Foster (Annie Ilonzeh) and the newest addition, candidate Blake Gallo (Alberto Rosende).

When my cousin passed away from an overdose, the firefighters, emts and police that were on the scene came to his funeral, it was really nice of them
@Hannah Kristensen, Sorry for your loss. 🥺❤
I know what it’s like to lose family. May he live on in memory
As a flight medic, I made sure to go to the funeral over every patient I lost
May he rest in peace in the heavenly kingdom above.
Seeing old people cry is the saddest thing in the world. It always makes me cry. You just want to give them a hug. Beautiful scene!
I’m the same way
I am the same
Same😢
@Ryan Carlin I am so sorry for your loss my friend.
Can someone explain the premise of the episode? Was the victim someone whom Firehouse 51 tried to save?
This scene, what Casey and Brett did for this man, was extraordinary. This episode reminded me that there is still good to be found in the world. And might I add another amazing performance by david selby.
Same. I totally cried when the old husband saw all those people come in. It reminded me when I was at my uncle funeral. And Brett and Casey really shined in this episode and showed how amazing they are as human beings and the Brett and Casey relationship seems so organic at this moment that I can't wait to see what other scenes or situations they get themselves in. I really hope the season ends with them admitting their feelings!!!
@@jonathanoscategui2678 This is was just like my uncle funeral he was a volunteer Firefighter/EMT in Detroit especially the people that he helped out showed up.
There's some good in this world Mr frodo and it's worth fighting for
That was NOT David Selby acting. That was Tim Larson grieving for his wife, and showing his tearful gratitude to Firehouse 51 and Chicago for their sincere grief in sharing his loss. The amazing thing about this show was that I did not see actors performing; instead, I felt as if I was a witness to a true to life event. KUDOS the cast and crew of Chicago Fire!
@@ariffisma1 Agreed
I can't imagine what that was like for the old man, losing his wife and the only living family he has left is Dusty the cat. But then Brett and Casey, Firehouse 51, and the people of Chicago showed up and were comforting the man, and I cried so hard. This man deserves happiness for the rest of his life, and praise to 51 and the people of Chicago 😭🙌
Thanks for clarifying who kicked the bucket, ngl I was hella confused but I still loved it cuz I adore powerful scenes like this one.
Amen to that, man. Amen to that.
This is one of the biggest support anyone can get. Just imagine losing someone like that and having no one not even a single relative show up. Damn, it hurts man, I don't understand how it feels but it has to hurt.
But having the city show up like that is a great support. God bless.
Completely agree with you ❤️❤️🚒
AyeColonel Aye The reason no relatives are there is because there aren’t any. The widower and his wife outlived their entire family.
AyeColonel Aye God Bless you.
too bad god blesses people with death
@@DrewSavo it's always sad to be the last. Outliving everyone you know and love
Dang it, now I'm crying. Very touching and moving scene. Side note, Sylvie and Matt look cute together.
Yes they do!
They do 😊
Brett nose is too big for her to be pretty
Dawsey is better tho in my opinion 😊
The smile of the the Priest when he saw them walk in melted my heart
This scene, what Casey and Brett did for this man, was extraordinary. This episode reminded me that there is still good to be found in the world. And might I add another amazing performance by david selby.
the look on his face when they all enter made me cry :(
Brought me to tears, when Brett and Casey showed up. Then everyone else showed up, really had me crying. And the touching end, as Brett held his arm as if he was her grandfather. ❤ ❤ ❤
Im a grown man and it breaks my heart to see this moving gestus from 51. Love love this show.
@@lars90a I was moved by the gentleman tearing up, but it was when everyone turned up that tears started.
This scene made me cry while watching the episode and now the clip, such a heartwarming scene.
Jurciii 09 where did you get the episode because I can’t find it anywhere
@@ghostm4cky77gaming4 I'm watching it on Movie Play Lite, I downloaded it on the app store but I don't remember what I wrote in to find it. Oh yes i'm also watching on mobile.
When the widowed man started crying so did I 😢😭
Me toooo

Mais ele era esposo de quem pq eu achei que ele fosse pai do Otis e o velório fosse do Otis mais agora vê melhor dai é viúvo mais.ele era esposo de quem???
I was so upset when no seats were filled I felt horrible but seeing casey and Brett it was amazing then everyone else that filled the whole room I just couldn't he looked so happy and amazed and seeing him cry was just heart breaking
This scene and the scene in season 1 when they stood outside and light up the trucks and saluted for the kid who died while playing hide and seek with his brother always gets to me.
What episode is that
@@nave712 I think episode 19
@@tayetaye114 of what season?

I love how 51 rallied together for this grieving man. Such a beautiful moment.
I was not in the slightest prepared for this scene. Absolutly one of the best scenes in the show
i was crying so hard y’all don’t even know 😂
Me too
Same! I stayed in my room until I calmed down
Who's cutting those darn onions?
I don't know!
Chicago pd, med and fire producers
Stupid Ninjas 😭😭😭
I wanna know too gosh darn it
I don't know.
The scariest thing about growing old with the person you love is the thought of losing them💔 and I know it’s not real but the scene felt very real🥺 oh and I cried😭
At a friend's funeral there wasn't enough space in the church! We were outside the church on the green in the town centre! It just showed how many lives he had touched! He wasn't even 18 when he died but he taught everyone so much. I was completely astounded by how many hearts he had touched. I felt the same way about this clip. This is community
This scene had me fighting back tears I'm so glad Brett & Casey found the cat so he could keep a piece of his wife with him
They was not supposed to take the cat in the hospital s at least they should have bathe it I first nasty
We need more TV series showing Human Kindness like this does!♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏🙏
This Scene and the Human Chain on the River Saving the young Boy made me 😭😭
Y'all are determined to make me cry 😭😭😭😭
Too late😭😭😭😭
This was my favorite scene of the episode. This scene warmed my heart and brought tears of joy to my eyes. This was amazing that the city came together for this man when he was going through a terrible loss.
I dare say this is still my favourite scene from Chicago fire to this day
Easily one of the most heartwarming moments in the entire One Chicago universe
"Chicago shows up for each other" that got me.
I agree with that not just two people but I love them
Best scene in all the episodes I have watched. I cry every time I watch it.
When the he started crying watching the people come in I absolutely lost it😭😭
Pregnancy hormones made me cry a hella lot harder was so touching to see that he wasnt alone cand shows just how much firehouse 51 cares
I'm a 40 year old guy, but I'm playing the pregnancy hormones card too.
I ain't pregnant but I think your hormones affected me too 😂😂
Congratulations
this show really teaches me about the importance of empathy and care for other people !! This scene really touched me - it shows what great people sylvie and matt are… This scene had me in tears !!
Man, just think of what we can do to change the world with just kindness and being there for each other. I love fore house 51 and this show. This is what true heros are made of
Scenes like this is what makes Chicago fire such a great show!!
This is a crying moment, so touching. We need to love and care for each other especially our elederly. Thanks writers.
my god when he started to cry i held back my tears because im at school
Chicago fire has to be one of the most beautifully written shows ever. I love how they can do the danger of the life of emergency services but also their heart as well
Chicago Fire is my favorite of the Chicago Franchise! This scene is so heartwarming when Firehouse 51 shows up! Otis and Shay were definitely waiting to greet Larson's wife in heaven!
This hit me so hard. Never want people to be alone at a time like this.
Brett and Casey are just awesome
And so was everybody else
@@carolynelston5936 This story wasn’t about the other characters and actors even though they all did a great job Carolyn❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!! Please stop with your hatred of Jesse, Kara and Brettsey!!!! When my grandmother past away last year I was shocked and touched at how many people came to her funeral. I swear people were standing outside the church. So I understand this guys reaction with how many came.
They did the right thing gathering everyone to join the funeral. I even cried a little bit.
Chicago show up for each others. that us the God honest truth!!! there is no love like that Chicago love 🥺🥺
Chicago even though being one of the largest citys is famous for being extremely friendly and caring
And for bad pizza
@@benmackarel295 best city for pizza as well
You didn't have to come, Chicago shows up for each other, the tears on the old man are tears of happiness
This just goes to show that your presence can mean the world to any one person
This scene get me crying everytime
It's great that Casey and Brett plus everyone else who arrived didn't let this man go through a hard thing like alone. Everyone showed their support for him
Casey and Brett was not the only one there from the firehouse a lot of them were get it straight
@@carolynelston5936Yes, but Casey and Brett were the ones who initiated this for him. *You* get it straight.
I know this is just television and all, but this was so touching. Not gonna lie, I shed a few tears.
There are absolutely no words to express how much I love this show!
I was starting to get teary because there's so much meaning in this little part of the series saying that people stand up for one another even if they don't ask for it.
One of the greatest moments in the series
On the one hand it is so sad that he was nearly left alone , when he lost his wife ...
On the other hand though , the people who came to the funeral showed that there are still
people caring for each other and that nobody will be left alone! That’s how the world should be like ....
For me , seeing old people who were left alone when it matters the most , makes me so sad !
But I’m so glad that there are people who do something against the situations , and jump in without hesitating!
Is one of the best ever scenes in show or movie history.
This shows what a beutiful couple Casey and Silvie makes, both are so caring.
Everybody else was too most of all of house 51 was at that funeral and other people too
This ending is one of the best things i have seen in my life!
My parents were married Nov.1968. When papa died in 2014, it left my mom scared and missing her husband. Much like the man in the show, I will never forget how much my mother cried. But that ending, it was priceless. It showed what a caring community can do to help the vulnerable heal. It brought tears to my eyes. Definitely one of my favorite episodes.
This is one of the saddest and the kindest moment in the series. Always makes me cry 😢 And always makes me believe that there are good people everywhere ❤
Watching this scene again made me cry tears of joy again. This was so beautiful.
This episode was one of the best. I cried along with mum. We didn't cry this much since the memorial was made for Otis. Beautiful, so beautiful for this scene.
51 is always willing to lend a hand or hands to their community
He wasn’t upset with them that his wife passed away; he loved how so many people came to help him
The first time I ever watched this episode I would’ve never thought I would see such a display of unity.
this two last minute scene was the most beautiful of all series.....l love Chicago Fire.
Not even gunna pretend i wasn't crying when he started to lol
That is what the the world should be like
That people actually care about each other, show some respect...
Because it is always great to see and know , that someone got your back and always is behind you ....
I definitely cried a little at this scene. I'm just loving Chicago Fire more and more. Wonderful very real very raw humanizing scene
My grandfather who was my father figure for most of my young life. He passed away two months ago. One of the nicest people you could've met. I miss him more as each day goes by. But he looks down on me each day with a smile, saying how proud he is of me for being able to take on each day with a smile!! I love you Paw Paw
This scene had me and my stepdad super emotional. This was a beautiful scene.
Sooooo touching, compassionate, and beautiful to see with tears in eyes ❤😥😥
Well, if this doesn't make you cry, so absolutely touching!!!!
I have only been watching this show for 2 years now and this is the 4th time i have cried....flat out cried from moments like this. This show has a family aspect about it and thats why i love it
This episode had me in tears. I go back and watch them and this one makes me cry every time.
Wow! You can really see what this two are capable of. They help to open deeper emotions and show it to others, they make each other more.
I'm so happy to know there is 3 more seasons and we will see them growing into an amazing team, friends, couple.
Cause guys if it's not the happiness they both deserve than I'm not sure they can be happy at all on the show.
Really loved the support of the characters for this man
Chicago strong.
What's so heartbreaking is the fact that he did not expect anyone to come, then Firehouse 51 and the rest of Chicago bettered his expectation and showed up, supporting him.
What a beautiful clip. I'm currently muffling my sobs in my pillow, because I have seen and experienced this level of grief many times. But what they did for this man, was truly beautiful. I am sad and so happy all at once.
Loved this! This older man was in a show back in the sixtys called Dark Shadows. His character name was Quentin. It was so popular back then.
Yes it was.i was a child back then n used to watch it barnabas Collins used to scare the hell out of me.
Dark Shadows was the only “story” my Grandma let me watch in high school.
My friend got me interested in Dark Shadows. Soap opera like no other. Boy I'm old
Who cried happy tears at this?? Just me? He looks so shocked that he had that many people here. 😌😌😌
One of the most beautiful scenes. I cry everytime that I saw it, but I don't cry for sadness but for happiness and emotional.
The part where he cried seing everyone walk in made me tear up anyone else?
This is one of my favorite scenes from this awesome show. It shows how we all should treat one another.
Whenever I need to have a good cry, I always come to this clip.
When old people cry....it just makes me want to reach through the screen and just hug them 💕🥺😇
Oh good god, I haven’t seen this episode yet but I’m sat here weeping like a baby. 😭😭
The actor playing the widower is David Selby. And the fact he didn’t win an Oscar or anything for this iconic moment is utterly disgraceful. Because you cannot help but start to shed tears as he sees all those people coming in.
I’m not crying. You are, I just have dust in my eyes
I remember this episode. Seeing how everyone came for support was great .
Mannnn I just got done moving so my bones hurting made me start tearing(lying) love the support
Kindness in which this world needs more. Grieving is a difficult process to face alone as you need others to help you with their presence
Scenes like this are making Chicago Fire so special and outstanding. And i fear the day when this Show ist ending.
This is the true Chicago we all know & love. This is what real people do for each other
This made me cry, this was so heart touching, from the moment I realised he did not have a wife, to the moment when it shows the kindness in humanity. 😭
This scene always makes me cry like a baby! So touching!!!!
No matter how many times I watch it I cry every time.
Omg this scene is so incredible and touching everyone sticks together this made me cry watching this
This scene was so beautiful.
I'm crying.....
I just love this. If only people were this kind in real life, that would make the world a better place!🥰♾
I watched this episode on the TV. My mum came in , then noticed I was in tears.
I cried so bad that was such an amazing scene.
