ABOUT CHICAGO FIRE
From renowned Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf ("Law & Order" brand) and co-creator Derek Haas, the writer behind "3:10 to Yuma," comes Season 8 of "Chicago Fire." The family inside Firehouse 51 knows no other way than to lay it all on the line for each other. Capt. Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) leads the Truck Company and brash Lt. Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) runs the Rescue Squad. The firehouse also includes Battalion Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker), a fireman's fireman. Paramedic Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) returns alongside seasoned veteran Christopher Herrmann (David Eigenberg) and Randy "Mouch" McHolland (Christian Stolte), as well as resourceful firefighter Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo). You don't want to mess with Kelly, he has the nose to sense when things are becoming shady and dangerous. He doesn't tolerate anyone's bad behavior especially when it affects those who he cares about. He is fearless, strong, and kind. That's why he is one of the best firefighters in Chicago.
Which I am surprised he didn't stay at OFI. That ability is a gigantic asset to any investigative beurau.

One other person that should have been at this meeting, Hank Voight and a couple members of CPD intelligence. It would have been perfect justice for the members of the intelligence unit to arrest that weasel.

@@joshechobolthype8258 I know. I was by the fire station and saw the signs letting people know what days they would be filming and where to not park and I have been to Mollys and a friend of mine ran into the actor that plays Boden. But I have never had luck with anything thus far
I think this show has gotten better and come a long way since that disappointing Season Premiere. Let's just hope and pray we see more of the same and less of those dreadful cliches that have befallen this show and others like it.
Want to hear a kicker? That shiny new (used) aerial ladder that 81s got from Gorsch had a problem with the ladder lock. Casey initially blamed Mouch for it but when Hermann did some further research and called the Cleveland FD where the rig was purchased, it was indeed a mechanical/safety defect that NEVER GOT REPAIRED before Chicago took delivery!! Typical Gorsch.
When he walked out Burgess, Halstead, and Voight should have showed up and arrested Gorsch on the spot

As a CNA as well as patient there are very very very few things you go cheap on. Everything that has to do with firefighting EMT working in a hospital a nursing home there are just so many things that you cannot afford to go cheap on because if you do it could mean your job, even your life or someone else's life.
I was in a bad mood and this was recommended so i clicked on it and fats forward Gorsch gets fired and im in a better mood thanks One Chicago!:)😅

I love Kelly Severide because he's honest and doesn't a no for an answer and everything and he's amazing with kids and very protective over women and i can definitely tell that he loves kids and i can definitely see him be a father to his own children and he's absolutely no non-sense and he will find every evidence for the chicago police department needs and he has the firehouse 51 backs like firehouse 51 has his back and all of those firefighters they aren't just firefighters they are family forever and for life.

that was so satisfying. His character was such a jerk throughout the series. Even the way he said “I can tell this is a hostile environment so I’m going to extract myself“ is such a corporate buzz phrase to say for political correctness
Gorsche taking a kickback was just the icing on the cake. Because even if he didn't, he STILL is liable for this.
Look, Gorsche sucks at being a firefighter but the one thing he had was his ability to do the more "paperwork" part of the job. He rose to the ranks because of that right? So him "messing up" the detail of the supplier he chose making unprotected gear really has criminal intent all over it. He couldn't have missed this detail. It was intentional. He couldn't possible write this off as carelessness given that in the past, he excels at this "part of the job".

Whether fiction or true, you don't skimp or buy cheap fire equipment. There's too much at stake.

Gorsch was doomed from the start when he tried strong arming 51 and ESPECIALLY Chief Boden.
He learned the hard way that you don’t SCREW WITH THE BEST station staff in the Game
