Well, maybe but also the demos from the earlier albums were WAYYYY different, so the changes might also be a creative decision by the band. Roadrunner is more lenient with bands over other labels.
I think the reason they cut out the lines about “Regret dressed in his Sunday best” is because Claudio ended up using similar lyrics in the PFI song “Death Rattle”
Yeah this version is the superior version. It's less cliche. I love the new album, but in my humble opinion, Liar's Club is a huge blemish for what is otherwise a masterpiece of an album (Shoulders is weak as well, but not as bad). I think Liar's Club may be the worst song they've ever written. Generic, boring, predictable. I don't think there are any other coheed songs nearly as bad as Liar's Club.
@@threekeysmusic I also like at the end where they just keep the same double time tempo rather than slowing it to halftime. Reminds me of whenever they play Everything Evil live
Generic, boring, predictable. Just like this kind of self absorbed comment. To think that Claudio would release anything subpar is nonsense and ignorant.
Yeah I prefer this one too. Feels more old-school Coheed, I love the chunkiness of the tones. Just more soulful.
Now here comes regreeet dressed in his sunday beeessst. UGH love this!!!! 🤩🤩💖💖💖
Do you have the Lyrics to this??
The lyrics are so much better. I bet the industry was like... no we need to make this more popy for the radio lol

They’re literally the exact same with the addition of like 2 lines. Chill
Claudio said "Some of these songs are just pop. It's the pandemic who cares?" but I cared. Our Love doesn't belong on this album.

I love how it goes right to the next verse, smoother.

I can think of plenty of worse songs. Wake Up, Peace to the Mountain, Far, Young Love, Pavilion...
Those are some p big stinkers
