This week will go down in history as the week I found unexpected treasures in Goodwill's vases and planters! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a vintage milk glass piece right there on the shelf.... I wonder how old it is?
Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.

Its Friday afternoon and I'm keeping my fingers croseed that I have as much luck this trip as I did on my last trip to Goodwill. The color of the day is Orange so all items with orange price tags are half price. Its later in the day and they have all ready restocked the shelves with all sorts of treasures! I agree. I recently unsubscribed from another reseller who, among other annoying personality characteristics, smashes her way through the Goodwill shelves with reckless abandon.
Yes. That was probably the first thing that appealed to me when I saw Tiffany’s channel for the first time.
I've seen one famous thriftier that just jams items half hazardous and without care. Almost never placed back in hits original spot in antique malls. Irritates me.

I have used “ damaged mugs” for starter plants, and also with small silk flower arrangements.

I can NOT believe that you started talking about that movie with the sloths working at the post office!! I asked my son yesterday if he could remember the name of that movie but he didn’t and because we were on a birthday,we didn’t look it up and forgot about it! Tiffany that brown mini tpot has black on the bottom which is soot. It is part of a tea light wax burner. The base looks like a cook stove and was on the very next shelf. Take a look! You are so fun! I wait for your videos and have seen every one!
Hi, Tiffany at the 5:11/59:39 the base to the tiny teapot is behind the orange glass candle and green globe on the same shelf. I own one just like it. You put a tea light in the base and fill the teapot with water then drop your favorite oil into the teapot and it will send out the fragrance into a room. Mine is a beautiful blue glaze and I love it. Some folks melt wax in the teapot.
The atomic box originally came with stationary. I have one still from my childhood minus the stationary. Most likely late 60s early 70s
I had a pink one from that era! It was my first jewelry box and I used it for many years.
At 41:43, it says in The Netherlands Dutch: "100 years old."
Tiffany, I am your very loyal RUclips follower, televised here in Delaware on Thursday and Sunday and avid 75 year old retiree thrifter. Our local Goodwills have become very overpriced so I'm overjoyed to see bargains there. I appreciate that you occasionally change things up at different Goodwills since leftover items are becoming easily recognizable at Cheyenne & Rainbow. May you find more of my favorites, Blendo-West Va Co. and Georges Briard and continue to inspire us for "the thrill of the hunt"!

The gravy boat reminded me of Old World TEMPTATIONS CONFETTI.
The"tea pot" is actually a candle burner. The top has holes for ventilation. The base you passed by that the pot sits on and the opening for the burner to melt the candle.

I had an amber candle holder exactly like the 2nd or 3rd item you picked up the little protrusions on the inside are there to hold up the matching cover which was a modified bell shape with a hole in the flattened top. I got mine as a gift in the early 70's. I think I got it at a house party sale, I can't quite remember.

I'm from Ohio hon. I have a whole set of those Avon hummingbird etched items . I have wine glasses , plates and also those candle holders.
They were purchased in approximately 1986. So they old. Just thought I'd share with you

I bought a wood bowl and it’s age is on the bottom. It has the maker’s mark and the date 1955. Took me awhile using the mineral oil on it every few days. It’s beautiful now.
That amber dish I think it’s the bottom of a fairy lamp. I have one like it.

The little teapot is an oil warmer, the base (looks like a stove) is on the lefthand side of the shelf. It is in the picture left side when you pick up the amber dish at 5:03.
I think the gravy boat you couldn’t decide on was a Temptations piece, maybe the old world confetti pattern.
I was thrifting at my local store this morning in Western Mass. It’s dirty and the employee who was restocking the shelves was banging glassware left and right! 😣

The glass dragon was a fun find. The Nieman Marcus dish just reminded me of a recent find at the thrift store. I found a yellow platter with blackberries. Thought it might look pretty in my spring/Easter display Turned it over. Tiffany&Co. 3 bucks. Score!
Just wanted to tell you about a little game I play as you go through your haul.
I listen as you describe the items and I guess at the price you will ask as you resell! So.. amazingly, I only got one wrong. I guessed the Santa Tracker at $40, but you went all the way to $50.. I’m just not a collector of pieces like these but I watch all of your videos and enjoy each one..🛒🛒🛒🛒

Tiffany I heard you say you were taking an extra good look in the candle section for the possibility of another Glassybaby, and I would like to suggest that you also look carefully in the stemless wine glass section. That is where I found two recently! :) I was so excited I nearly dropped the first one I picked up.

How do you recognize a glassy baby?
@@carolmiller294 From their shape and color at a distance, and when you pick them up they will be quite heavy as they are hand blown glass. They will also have "glassybaby" stamped into the glass on the bottom in a circlular shape, and sometimes they will still have their sticker on the bottom as well which will have the name of the votive, and the brand glassybaby, and a barcode sometimes.
Newer ones also often have a triskelion etched onto the glass on one side, in the clear area.
I love restaurant dishware! I picked up a small plain white bowl over forty-five years ago in the Goodwill. It was made at Buffalo China, a local factory that has since closed forever, although they tried very hard to stay in business for years. Friends and neighbors worked there. So this plain heavy little bowl has memories for me!
I would probably wear disposable gloves if I were touching that many items which get touched a lot. I’ve been healthy all of my life, but with Covid and my age of 74 now, gloves seem like a good idea.
I keep my hands away from my face & carry my own hand sanitizer

Zootopia is my one and a half year old granddaughter‘s favorite movie. If she’s ever upset and needs to be calmed down all you have to do is put that on the TV and she is fine. You were so right about the sloths they are so funny in that movie.
