After shooting this video and speaking with 100+ people to make this video, here were some of my take aways:
-A lot of people when asked what one of their problems was, couldn’t even think of ONE when put on the spot. These people definitely had problems but the issues they dealt with weren’t truly BIG enough for them to even remember. I think this shows a lot of people are just fine and complain about small and un important things.
-Peoples problems were very vast, some more serious than others. Problems are relative. So when thinking about your own problems, step back and look at them in the grand scheme of your life. Will this “problem” matter in 5 days, 5 months, 5 years? If it’s not going to matter in 5 years, don’t spend more than 5 mins worrying about it.
-Everyone is going thru something, some handle it better than others. So never be afraid to ask someone what they’re going thru, sometimes just ranting about your issue or getting it OUT can be therapeutic and helpful.
-We will ALWAYS have problems in our journey, it’s inevitable. Every week there will be something new. But if you can continue to fly through the turbulence and not let your problems break you, you can accomplish BIG things😎

Lost my grandfather (whom raised me) in January while going through a divorce/separation and finishing graduate school. I can relate to these kids. It’s tough and their determination is great in that they are still going forward with their lives

I just lost brain cells from some of these answers. But also, genuinely surprised to see how common it was for people to be dealing with losing parents. Makes me wonder how often I pass by people like that on my campus having a rough day.
