Being a UK law graduate & reasonably educated and having watched many of these types of US quizz videos I have to ask the simple question. What is the admission procedure to US Universities and is it considered very very easy by international standards ?
Different universities and states have different standards. I tutor at a small university in a city near where I live, and it is open admission. In other words, they will take any applicant with a high school diploma. From what I've read and observed when I taught in Europe, it is easier to be admitted to a US university than to a European university but sometimes harder to get out.

The surgeon question isn't an indication of gender bias. It's phrased in such a way as to make it seem surprising that the boy could possibly be the son of the surgeon, leading people to think it must be his dad and there's some trick going on.

As soon as the Young Lady stated her nation was next to Ethiopia and had an "E" in its name, I instantly knew it was Eretrea. Everyone wanted to gouge the country and turned them down. Out of sheer will, the nation's people voluntarily unearthed most of the parts of this railroad including, metal ties, rails and abandoned cars, and locomotives. With the instruction and guidance of a very old Eretrean, mid-70's former railroad man/employee of the Italian colony era (and the last man alive), many youthful volunteers literally resurrected the rail line, the rail cars and the locomotives. The complete knowlede of the railroad's history, operation, foundry, forge and tools was passed onto these young men barely a couple of months before the gentleman died. A national treasure was saved and to ride this railroad today cost about $0.50 cents.
I think for the next video you should ask actual teachers in the classroom how to fix the public school system, but you would have to blur their faces if you want them to tell the truth, if not they would get fired.

The scarier thought is, "what, exactly, constitutes the 'canon of knowledge' that some of these self-certified 'above-average' intellectuals somehow think they know?" For real. These depressing pop quizzes skip over the more interesting (albeit probably disturbing) car-crash of a question, "what do you consider important stuff to know... without the internet on hand?" That really sums up the idea behind the goal of education prior to the 21st Century.
