Hi! I have a 45 watt laser (Glowforge) I do not have a way to set % in the software for GF. Do you know any glowforge settings that may be a starting point? currently i have been using 800 speed and full power but i am not real happy with the results and its frustrating on this machine 😏 I purchased your action today, super excited to use it!!

What wattage machine are you running? I’d like to start close to those settings, but we’d need to adjust for power differences.

It’s a 60w machine, the best thing to do is start with one speed such as 180mm/s and also a low power that you know won’t do anything. Increase only your power upwards until it’s perfect. To go faster from there you will increase your speed and increase the power to keep the balance

You can clear coat or even better pour clear epoxy over them. Professionally I now use two color plastic because you don’t have to mess around with any of that. I still use tile however, it’s great for staying sharp and the settings are similar to the two color plastic “row mark” etc.

I believe it was about 50 minutes or so. 12x12 200dpi. I could increase the speed if I really wanted to since it’s a lower resolution, if you go too fast you’ll eventually miss details which wouldn’t turn out so great.
